The Soundtrack to the 1990 Motion Picture Starring Al Pacino Featured a Variety of Pop Artists Like Blondie's Deborah Harry, Elizabeth Daily, Mrs. Michael Mcdonald Amy Holland (Who at the Time Had Made a Solo Name for Herself) and Incidental Themes by German Electronic Meister Giorgio Moroder. I TOtally AGREE;with the person who said ;forget DEF JAM;Puleaze;Thugster rap discussions and all about influence on gangsta's lives today is total B.S./this story and the music it represents was about the times in 82 through 85,But i was very upset with all the hype Gangstas got on the dvd ..Enuff on that..
this soundtrack is excellent, buy this and the remix version, then put it on your x-box and roll...(Prez.CrimestoppersInc.)
I've owned this soundtrack for years, and do feel it's authentic, but incomplete nonetheless. Bonus Track for a future, more comprehensive disc -- although I'd never expect it -- would be to include Santana's 'Guajira' which Manolo is singing on screen as he walks to the mismatched 'Vamos A Bailar.'
