About the Author
Kathy Sovine Roberts, born in 1961 and resides in West Virginia still. Mother of one 12-year-old daughter. Always a passion for romance novels, but not the extra mushy, or super descriptive romantic scenes. Scars of the Heart is her first novel, but now that she's completed one, she already has another in the works. You can look forward to seeing more of her work in the future.

Reviewed on behalf of 2 girls who love books
Historical romances are one of my favourite genres so I was really looking forward to reading this book! It was action from the very first page! The story was really well written and had a great pace to it. I instantly liked the characters and the mystery surrounding some of them! There were some really good twists to the story that kept interest throughout. I loved the descriptive language used – some of the dresses and clothing in the story were described beautifully and I could imagine all the detailing that they had on them. I really liked the characters, for 16 I thought Lady Katrina was very mature. Prince Markus was really considerate to her and it was clear that he really did love her. This story was almost like a fairy-tale for adults! Due to the way in which the book is written you do have to pay attention to who is speaking in each paragraph but I still found it fairly easy to follow.
Overall I found this to be a really enjoyable read. If you are looking for a nice romance story with a HEA then I would definitely recommend ‘Scars of the Heart’.
I am looking forward to reading more about them.
Love the settings and time period.
Great Job! Keep them comming.
