Now to the book!

The inhabitants of Barsaive made many sacrifices to survive the 500-year Scourge which ravaged their lush land. The noble Therans built elaborately warded underground kaers deep in the Earth, the city of Parlainth shifted to another plane, and the proud Elves of Blood Wood endured the excruciating Ritual of Thorns. There is some information if you are curious as to what this particular story is about. I found it to be very, very well done though it does share a lot of the same themes as found in The Longing Ring by Christopher Kubasik The Longing Ring (Earthdawn). I highly recommend this one if you are a fan of the setting and are looking for something to show just how bad the Horrors are.
