Editorial Reviews

Review

"To say that Scavenger Girl is a captivating dystopian world full of danger, intrigue and romance really does not do this story justice." - Jennly T.  JennlyReads.wordpress.com
"Welcome to The Hunger Games meets Star Wars! Wow, this was a great book! It was like nothing I've ever read before, and I read a lot. Una lives in a sort of dystopian (horrible in my opinion) society. Her family was stripped of their title, making them scavengers. If the Authority thinks Scavengers are in the wrong, they can harm them and kill them with no consequences. It's terrifying, really." - Moonlight Reader
"Jennifer Arntson had me hooked from the first chapter with a world of totally different societies, each with their own beliefs, customs and lifestyles. The characters were well developed and very likeable, each tugging at your heart." - The Novel Lady
"This book has a premise that is both interesting and intriguing. Una is about to be a woman, and that means she can become a slave, surrogate or wife. Not much of a choice, but then something happens..." - Amy's Bookshelf Reviews
"An excellent story in a well-built world populated by fascinating characters; full of a ton of things you won't see coming...
Una's tale is a rough one, but very well crafted and I did enjoy it (even the dark bits). It was a heavy read, and it took me longer than usual to finish. That is, in part, due to the severity of the world of Scavengers and Citizens. But it's also a credit to the author, and the depth and breadth of the world she has so artfully created and the plots she has delicately intertwined within it. There were loads of things I never saw coming, which is not something that happens often. Perhaps it shouldn't be that surprising - so much happens in this story, that encapsulating it is nearly impossible without either a twenty page precis or spoilers (hence the difficulty in putting genre parameters around it). The characterization is fantastic." - Jill-Elizabeth (Jill Franclemont)

From the Author

I would like to pass along a message to my readers and hopeful readers!  I love the excitement that my book has inspired in everyone that has read it.  The question has come up several times (I mean I've been bombarded by this question) as to when the other books in the Scavenger Girl Series will be released...  Well if you didn't know already, the quick answer is: All five books have been written!  As for the exact release dates, that is a little longer of an answer. WE ARE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE for Talium (book 2), you can pre-order the eBook NOW. The launch day is February 28th and you will be able to order the paperback the same day as well.   My hope for books 3 through 5 is to have a little faster turn around time for the editing process with some of the editing being done concurrently.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me in this journey, and to everyone who has turned the pages of Scavenger Girl. I love this story and hope you do too.
Every author loves to hear your thoughts on their work - so remember that Amazon has a way to do that... :)
