Product Description
Whether your fuel needs include watercraft, hunting and camping, generators, backyard power equipment, or professional landscaping tools, the Duramax Flo 'n' Go fluid transfer pump and rolling gas can make refueling a snap. The Flo 'n' Go is made of a durable, high-density polyethylene material in red that safely holds gasoline. When it comes time to refill, the pump's patented Flo 'n' Go hand pump and pump holder handle takes over, letting you transfer fluids on level surfaces with minimal priming. And thanks to the dual mechanical shutoff valves at both the tank and hose, the tank's disconnection is spill-proof, providing a safe fuel transfer for both you and the ecosystem.

Customers are mixed about the durability of the Flo-N-Go Fuel Caddy. Some mention that it's well made, while others say that the plastic pump handle may break. The thick wall HDPE blow molded construction is good, and the unit does hold a lot of fuel. However, some customers say that they are afraid that the hose quickly became too brittle to use, and it broke and came apart in 2 1/2 months. The flimsy hose holder and the nozzle have broken off.

Customers have mixed opinions about the weight of the gas tank. Some mention that it assembles just fine, transports just well, and is easy to wheel around and store. However, others say that it is very heavy and cumbersome to move about.

Customers are mixed about the value of the product. Some mention that it's good for the price and has definitely paid for itself in gas savings, while others say that it is ridiculously overpriced, the hose is cheap, and the product is a poor product for the money.

Customers have negative things to say about the flow of the product. Some mention that the bottleneck restricts the flow rate, the gas flows slowly, and it takes 15 minutes for 13 gallons to drain. The gas gets pumped out in little batches, and might splash, rather than just smoothly pour. It doesn't flow if not elevated, and the siphon/gravity is slow unless pressurized. The hose is wimpy and crimps slowing flow, and does not pump fuel as promised.

"...No flow if not elevated: It is NOT a service station (old term) with electrical power. It is a GRAVITY FEED and liquid flows DOWNHILL...." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the leakage of the fuel tank. They mention that it leaks everywhere it can leak, and it's difficult to deal with residual fuel leaking out of the hose.

Customers are dissatisfied with the quality of the product. They mention that the hose is very bad quality, the wheels are cheaply done, and the plastic nozzle looks and feels cheap. The hand pump is not well designed, and it leaks. The tank needs better quality fittings, and works great.

I have no problem using it, either. Loosen the air/vent valve, and open the two ball valves at the bottom (one for the tank, the other for the hose). As another reviewer said, it's easier if you lay it on its back to do this, then stand it up. Takes all of ten seconds. Simply reverse the process when you're done to get it ready to store. You might want to close the ball valves first, then finish pumping out whatever small amount might still be in the hose itself.
You do have to actually pump the handle, which does require both hands, since you have to also hold in the little safety button. A bit annoying, but, hey, you're probably using this to fill up smaller engines like mowers and whatnot. You're probably not using it to fill your car or truck. So, you might have to switch hands while filling if you get tired. Since the gas gets pumped out in little batches, it might splash, rather than just smoothly pour, so you might want to be sure that the end of the spout is really inside the tank, or filling along the side or something, to minimize splash-back. Took only a second or two to see how to do it on my mowers.
The wheels are not rubber or anything fancy like that. They're just plastic disks. But, I generally don't need to roll it more than just a few feet. I roll it just out of garage, pump it, then roll it the few feet back in. I'm not dragging it around like rolling luggage through an airport.
So, it's not a magical device. The fact that it holds a lot of gas also means (when full) it will be on the heavy side. The fact that it's a manually-operated device means you burn a couple of calories using it, rather than flipping a switch or something. But it does what it is supposed to do, and it works great for me. I've had no problems with it, and would recommend it.
UPDATE - 26 November, 2014
The pump handle/nozzle assembly recently broke. I called the company (Scepter), and for $20, they sent me a replacement. Swapping the handles was easy. So, while I would have preferred to have had the one moving part on this tank be constructed more sturdily, it was easily fixed when it finally broke.
Bought this in September 2022, I mow a large patch of land and usually have to put 2 tanks in the mower each time I mow. Bought this thinking it would be much easier to use than the 3-5gal cans I had been using and more portable than the 30gal steel drums I typically use on a gravity fill setup.
The good: the tank itself, is air/liquid tight and well made. Haven't had issues with it deforming and wheels coming off like others have reported yet. with the handle and finger grips, I don't have much trouble loading and unloading it, even when full (I am a big guy). If you leave it in the sun while mowing then you can get pretty good flow rate from the pressure before venting
The Bad: the hose kinks very easily, especially at the end where it screws to the tank, just as others had reported. For as much as these cost, you'd think they'd fix such a common issue, but no luck. Siphon/gravity is slow unless pressurized either through natural heating or artificial pressure (some have added tire valves and pump to 1-2psi). The handle has no hold open so unless you want to sit for several minutes (slow fill rate) you need to prop it open so you (gas cap, rubber band, tape, etc)
The ugly: The handle leaks like a sieve after a few uses, not including using it as a pump, just in siphon mode, which should mean less wear on the bulb inside the handle. Not as bad as spilling with the "no spill" spouts, but enough that your hands and probably feet will be soaked with gas by the time you get filled up. Have requested warranty repair since it is still within a year of purchase (9/2022-6/2023). I entered a warranty request and within an hour I had a reply that they were sending a replacement. I hope the replacement holds up better, but gotta say I was pretty impressed with the quick, positive answer
The fitting at the bottom had to be tightened more than I would’ve liked, but after an extra 1/4 turn past what I thought would be sufficiently tight, it doesn’t leak. The nozzle seems cheap, but it hasn’t broken and works as designed. In a world where we can’t be trusted with an old school simple gas can, this definitely beats the new age safety dispensers.

Durante la escasez de gasolina, esta si lo rellenaban por ser un tanque apto para ello. Es de gran capacidad, más de 60 litros.
Tiene una pequeña válvula que permite estar liberando el gas de si se almacena por mucho tiempo.
