Update 6/30/21:
Looks like I was able to close that opening on the top of the monitor which, while it isn't perfect, looks a lot better than before. + 1 star for that reason.
Update 6/22/21:
Apparently when you try to turn off the RGB on the back it automatically turns on next time you switch on the monitor. I would’ve been okay with this if they included white as a color but because it isn’t an option, it’s a bit of a shame.
I really liked Sceptre's E248W-FPT model. It may be a budget tier monitor in terms of picture quality, but the build quality on it was nice. The picture quality on this E248B-FPN168 is definitely step up from it. I'm not big on FPS (nor am I a hardcore gamer), but I wanted a monitor with the option of 144 hz just in case for future gaming. My only grip about this monitor however, is that it has a noticeable opening on the top (like it flew past QC checks). It hasn't affected the monitor performance in any way, but I'm a bit worried about it for the future. The E248W-QPT that I ordered recently had the same issue as well. I really want to recommend this monitor, but having seen these on my recent monitor purchases makes me unsure of whether I want to buy from this brand again... Maybe I got a dud, but just be weary about that when you consider buying this monitor.
