Will lift nearly any grease/oil

This is a monstrously powerful degreaser. I have used it to lift “impossible” grease and oil stains out of my work clothes, but it can and will remove the dye from the fabric too, so use with care.

It cleans like nothing else out there, but it can also strip paint.

This isn’t a casual degreaser that your granny uses in the kitchen. It’s industrial strength, and fairly caustic, and thus should be treated with respect and used with a mind towards safety.

I always keep a can in the garage, because sometimes nothing else will do. It’s made by a family owned company in St. Louis, which is a plus for me.

I bought a new car in October of 2018. In July of 2019, I ended up with the most disgusting lime green neon spots all over the windshield, hood, and just a few on the sides of my car after a road trip on an interstate. I am assuming it was some sort of strange bug because I didn't see anyone actually painting while we were travelling.

Of course, I used the washer fluid and wipers, but it didn't affect it. After returning home, I went through the car wash. It didn't help. My local car wash changed companies and added a promotion where you could get unlimited car washes for one month for just $1 (after one month the price would increase to $20.) I jumped at the chance. Surely, repeated high pressure car washes would remove that filth from my pretty car. I even pointed it out to the gentleman with the big brush of prewash fluid, and he suggested I make a few trips through the wash right then. He was sure it would come off. It didn't.

I tried different products. If Coca Cola can remove rust from car batteries, that should do it, right? Wrong.
I tried Dawn blue dish washing detergent, Krud Cutter, Lysol, Fantastic, WD40, Goo Gone and Goof Off . The Goof Off made it a little lighter with a lot of scrubbing, but as many spots as there were, I didn't have that much elbow grease in me.

I "Googled" how to get bug guts off car. I'm glad I did. A YouTube video demonstrated this product. They warned that this product is not cheap, but that it is very effective. They were right. I excitedly bought a can. I hesitated momentarily at the price, but I figured it was worth it if it removed those neon green spots.

The day I got the can in the mail, I ran outside with it and some paper towels. My spouse probably thinks I'm insane because I really do get crazy over some strange things, but I sprayed this stuff on the spots, waited a few minutes, wiped with paper towels, and the spots disappeared! I couldn't believe it. I tried so many things! This even smells good! I like citrus smells, and this has a strong one. I spent a long time spraying and wiping because I had hundreds of spots, but it did the job.

No evidence afterwards that I had used anything on the car. No discoloration, or texture change to the painted metal or fiberglass. I waited a while to review this product just to be sure that I wouldn't notice a difference where I had used it after a while. This was even used on the windshield. No harm to the glass either.

I highly recommend this product. Yes, it's pricey, but if you have tried other things, and are struggling to remove something adhered, give this a try. Hide it so that everyone in your house doesn't grab it as the first thing to try, but keep it on hand. :) I know I will buy this product again. Stop scrubbing and swearing, and buy Citrol.

I live out in the country and there are monstrous bugs everywhere. If your car looks anything like mine it takes a lot of elbow grease regardless of what product you use. I wasn’t expecting much but this stuff helped so much. I used the Citrol and let it sit a minute or two, warm soapy water, and a microfiber cloth. (It did take me a few doses but I mean look at my car lol.)

For REALS! Had latex paint in our leather sectional—real leather, and tried several different products and home remedies and nothing worked. Then I tried this based on a v YouTube review and thought to try it. The video review recommended a 4:1 ration, 4 parts water, but I didn’t binge for the gallon and went with the spray. It removed the late t pain. CAUTION: if you rub too long or too hard it can remove the color. This happened in one spot of many that worked perfectly, so be careful. Try to only spray in the area needed. I rinsed with a water spray bottle and dabbed gently as recommended on the YouTube review I watched. Use your normal leather protector arrears. Good luck!

Works pretty well. Spray it on and after 10 or 15 seconds of letting it sit it takes most of the bugs of. A few times I had to go a second time over the dirtier spots. I like it, but with shipping and everything $61 is a bit much for me. Without shipping the price is reasonable.
