My 7 year old son is a good reader but doesn't like a lot of chapter books because they lack illustrations. This book was perfect for him! Early chapter book with illustrations and an interesting story with fun characters to keep his interest.

My daughter loved this book, and it is hard to get her to read things. It is a cute little tale of an invisible boy and his friends and how they solve a mystery.

The educational value of the book is good. It teaches problem solving (what steps to take to solve the mystery, how to safely catch the nemesis in the story, how to let people know who Mystery, Inc is and what they do), creativity (making the cards), and life skills (being confident in who you are and what you look like, overcoming shyness, kids with disabiilities <one of the characters is hard of hearing>, kindness to animals, telling the truth, and standing up to bullies when you are being bullied as well as when someone else is.

I would recommend this book for high level readers in the 2nd grade to maybe 3rd grade. The level of reading difficulty might be appropriate for younger fourth graders, but I fear they would find the book to be too "babyish" for them in subject matter.

this was a good book. I liked that it was designed like a chapter book but it was easy for a first grader to get through and ended in the same day we started the book. Lots of words on the pages and good pictures for details.

Held my grandson's interest all the way through.

My daughter is a voracious reader and trying to stay ahead of her while finding book series that she likes is a challenge. I stumbled across this book and she loved it so much I had to hunt down the others in the series. I wish these books and a lot of other children's books published earlier would be available on the Kindle which goes with her everywhere.

My daughter is 6, and I like to push my daughter to read chapter books. She was able to read the book with ease however we both did not like the content. My daughter would bring the book to me when she spotted the words stupid, stupider and date.
This did teach me a lesson to preview all books before giving her to read.

The story was little strange, but I got it at a good price. I had to spend a lot of time explaining the story.

3.0 out of 5 stars 透明人間探偵団
Reviewed in Japan on March 27, 2005
