Editorial Reviews

Product Description

Hailing from the gothic city of Milan, Italy, Army of the Universe prepares to release the debut album Mother Ignorance on Metropolis Records. With mixing and production assistance by Chris Vrenna (Grammy-award winning drummer for Nine Inch Nails, keyboardist for Marilyn Manson, and multi-gold record producer/engineer for Rasmus, Megadeth, Slipknot and Metallica), Mother Ignorance is sure to be a monster album. Lord K (Vocals) and Trebla (production) bring power-driven guitars and 80's electronica/trance inspired analog synths to a whole new level. Compelling and anthemic electronic rock.

Possibly the most original noisemaker in electro-goth. --Tokafi

:wumspcut: was my go to hate the world music when i was in highschool, the era of Cannibal Anthem. i preferred the intensity of "Music for a Slaughtering Tribe", but would listen to "Wreath of Barbs", "Bone Peeler", and "Embryodead" just about as often. When Schiedling came out, i was really disappointed in the lack of abrasive or even the slightly poppy electro i'd come to expect. i picked this album up a few months ago while being totally uninspired by music around me, and i was thrilled. it isn't quite as listenable as bone peeler, but most of the songs are fantastic and it has become a regular on my monthly rotation.

I have everything rudy has ever released and this is the most solid album rudy has released for awhile. My only complaint about the album would be that a couple of the songs have some cheesy lyrics. I love every song on the album but the stand out tracks are Muselmann and Wumpelstilz even though it has what I would consider cheesy lyrics the instruments and song writing are top notch. I also love Jiddisch is a zwillink it is one of the most original songs I have ever heard (even for wumpscut). If you are a wumpscut fan that likes the remix albums (dwarf collection) that is released with each album, Schrekk & Grauss's dwarf album is totally worth the extra money. If you are new to wumpscut this wouldnt be a bad place to start even though there are alot of people out there that would recommend something from his earlier years such as embryodead.

A decent Wumpscut album. At least two club hits and overall the album keeps your interrest if played from begining to end. One of his better albums for sure. For fans of The Retrosic, In Strict Confidence, Hocico, and Suicide Commando.

When picking up Siamese, I thought I had the latest release, but then I saw this available for presale. When it arrived I played it right away, I cannot say there is anything real catchy here. The beats are the same, the songs seem so alike. I wanted this to be another album that I was crazy about, but it falls flat. I will give it a third listen and see if my opinion changes, but at this point in time, I wouldn't say its dire to own this album....
