1.) The Ad said "5/16" screws on the TOPS of these, but only the GROUND is 5/16.
The Positive is Larger than the Negative.
2.) No Instructions, I have no idea what the little foam colored circles are for....
3.) These only worked for a few months. Here's where the $200 comes into play:
- I started having Charging and Starting issues. I was already using a brand new battery, so what could it be?
I check my Alternator (also brand new), "couldnt be that", I think to myself...
Battery? - New. Battery Cables? - Also New.
So I buy a Ground Cable, and re-run my electrical system. Still, the Issue Persists. Then a new ignition... Same Problem.
After a Month of Trying to Diagnose it, I am fed-up.
I go buy a Brand-Spankin' New battery. The guy at the Auto Parts store even tested the Other New One, and said it was Junk.
So we pull another off the shelf ($200+ out of my Pocket) and throw it into my car.
STILL HAVING ISSUES.
So now, I'm super mad at the Guy for selling me a Junk Battery.
I bring it back in, and we re-test the OTHER battery, WITHOUT these battery clamps on it.
We get a FULL charge without these clamps.
And what little piece of info did the Autoparts store fail to mention: "No Returns on Installed Parts".
So now I'm stuck with a Useless Brand New Battery.
The Schumacher Company now owes me $200+ because of their Shotty Products, in my Opinion.

Been using them in my Jeep for about a year or more now.
It seems like I'm constantly pulling the battery cables off for one reason or another, so these were a godsend. Read more
