These are built well and I don't foresee having to change them any time soon. The anti-corrosion pads are a nice additional touch. They do stick up a little high, which could be a problem for battery covers.

I already have batteries with screw posts, but these are larger diameter which means a better electrical connection. Plus since these go on the standard posts, I still can use the original screw posts for other "accessories" . Will be buying some more.

Now that I have your Attention, here's an Honest Review:

1.) The Ad said "5/16" screws on the TOPS of these, but only the GROUND is 5/16.
The Positive is Larger than the Negative.

2.) No Instructions, I have no idea what the little foam colored circles are for....

3.) These only worked for a few months. Here's where the $200 comes into play:

- I started having Charging and Starting issues. I was already using a brand new battery, so what could it be?

I check my Alternator (also brand new), "couldnt be that", I think to myself...
Battery? - New. Battery Cables? - Also New.

So I buy a Ground Cable, and re-run my electrical system. Still, the Issue Persists. Then a new ignition... Same Problem.
After a Month of Trying to Diagnose it, I am fed-up.

I go buy a Brand-Spankin' New battery. The guy at the Auto Parts store even tested the Other New One, and said it was Junk.
So we pull another off the shelf ($200+ out of my Pocket) and throw it into my car.

STILL HAVING ISSUES.

So now, I'm super mad at the Guy for selling me a Junk Battery.
I bring it back in, and we re-test the OTHER battery, WITHOUT these battery clamps on it.
We get a FULL charge without these clamps.

And what little piece of info did the Autoparts store fail to mention: "No Returns on Installed Parts".
So now I'm stuck with a Useless Brand New Battery.

The Schumacher Company now owes me $200+ because of their Shotty Products, in my Opinion.

I really like the color coding paint on these, its pretty thick. Although, I had to scrape away a bit of paint under the wing nut areas where there is a raised boss that should make contact in addition to the wing nut. Other than that no issues what-so-ever. I would buy these again! The zinc coating is supposed to help maintain excellent electrical contact, no way for me to test that but they are working good so far!

The bolt is firmly attached to the terminal and the wing nuts are really nice. The felt washers are washers.. ya. I'm not an expert on these things, but they seam to be adequate and solved my problem. Only thing I didn't like is that they are painted even at the base of the bolt, so there isn't any contact surface on the bottom of anything you connect to it. But it could be removed partially if you thought it was an issue.

Good quality terminals. Have them on a battery that has a relatively low amp draw load, so can't comment on how something with extreme draw would work, but they seem to be good quality and as long as you can get the wing nugs tight, and to stay tight, it should work in more demanding situations.

I use these on all my "toys" I have a lawnmower that constantly gets acid backup on the terminals and then when I jump on it to start, a no go. I then put these on and no more problems of build-up. Since the lawnmower I put it on my spare car which I keep garage kept in the winter, 2 boats, another mower, and two atv,s works like a charm!

Very nice battery terminals. I needed the postive one on my car. Toyotas come with the dinkist terminals I've seen. These work great for a car but you have to get #4 connectors to put them on. Price on Amazon is half of what I've seen at auto stores.
