The problem with this product is that the 3 balls were not the same size and weight. One ball was big and heavy (relatively speaking), one was small and light, and one was in between. Having balls of different weights makes it harder to throw the balls accurately. As a result, your balls will go to different heights and your juggling will look amateurish. It will probably also take you longer to learn new tricks because you can't throw accurately. In addition, it's just annoying to have that lopsided feel as you juggle. All the manufacturer would have had to do was just make sure to put the same number of plastic beads in each ball. How hard could that be?

I would recommend that you spend a little more and get better quality balls. Or alternately spend less -- forget bean bag balls and buy some cheap rubber balls. They will be the same size and weight as each other, and they will feel better as you juggle. If you drop them as you juggle, you will have to chase them. But you can fix that by juggling over your bed; when they drop they will stay put.

Overall these are very good juggling balls. The only thing I would say is that they are all not the same size and weight. Other than that they are great for practice and have been quite durable.

I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The ones I received looked nothing like the picture. They were only half filled at best so the outer material was very loose and they were small and very very light. At first I thought they must be defective but the packaging they came in - they arrived in a cardboard envelope (to give you an indication of size) - was only just big enough for them.

Based on some of the other reviews here I get the impression that other folks must have received a different version or batch as they seem to have had very different experiences. Either way, based on what I received some of the reviews do not represent the product that is currently being shipped, be sure to check the date of any review you read.

I'm really disappointed with these.

I don't recommend purchasing this product. All of the balls fell apart at the seams after two hours of use.

My first set of juggling balls around three years ago were this brand of juggling ball, and they lasted two years. The cover started to fall apart but the mesh bag on the inside held strong. They were excellent balls.

These are not those balls. They're the same size, about 3 inches in diameter, but their build quality is awful. I've tried finding that original set of balls to no avail and have decided to stop purchasing Schylling products.

For juggling balls I don't recommend this product nor this brand.

I should have listened to the reviews here, but I wanted to be cheap.

I wouldn't have minded the fact that they are cheap vinyl feel, so long as they had a good weight to them and they were all the same weight. The three I got were: 35g, 44g, & 56g. It's not possible to juggle when one is almost double the weight of another. My hands smell a little bit, too, after handling them.

I also thought, because of the description, that I was buying 2.5" balls, and the ones I got were 1.75" in diameter. The packaging was plain, and did not have the Schylling packaging shown in the listing. I might try again from another seller. Or I might just bite the bullet and buy nice professional ones.

My 17-year-old son is learning to juggle and was getting tired of chasing bouncing tennis balls around the house. I should have read the reviews first, but got in a hurry to get an order in and just chose some for ~$8 that I hoped would be pretty good if not top of the line. Disappointing that the price fell soon after we ordered them.

Unfortunately, they are not really all that round, but rather kind of oblong. The seams have split on two of them within the first week that he has practiced with them. They do fall a lot onto the vinyl floor, but he is not mistreating them. We have sewn them up, but don't have a lot of confidence that these will hold up. We are going to have to do our research and order something better.

They came a little stiff, but after playing around with them for a day I was pleased at how easy they were to handle. Although I don't do any fancy tricks, I am pretty rough with juggling balls. I do more than just juggle, including throwing them at friends in games or catch, or just throwing them against cushions to relieve stress.

Due to these activities, I am noticing the stitching becoming a little stretched. I am a little concerned about it, but so far they are holding up mighty well. They don't cost much so if they do break it won't be much hassle to order another set.
