This title explains how Christianity is required to have any science. Science depends on uniformity of nature. The future must reflect the past. God has promised uniformity (Genesis 8:22). The atheist arbitrarily assumes uniformity by question begging. The future reflects the past because it always has arbitrarily.
Atheist use their presuppositions to interpret "facts" of science, yet have no accounting of their reasoning used to interpret facts without more question begging of their reasoning. God has provided reason as a gift (Isaiah 1:18) and scripture explains why reason can be trusted. Christians epistemologically and soundly interpret science because of scripture. The facts of science are consistent with young earth creation, specifically Christian presuppositIons.
The Bible may not be a science book, but is accurate on scientific discoveries about God's ontological reality that modern humanity discovered later on. God says life is in the blood (Lev 17:11). The earth hangs on unseen gravity and is sphere shaped (Job 26:7; Isaiah 40:22). Robinson gives many more examples of modern scientific truths described in scripture before modern centuries discovered them.
Naturalistic epistemology fails to justify the concept of "accounting" which is a precondition for valid epistemology. Accounting is ontologically possible with God because it's a gift from Him (Col 1:16-17; Pro 9:10). Accounting is an immaterial concept. Rationality is immaterial. All of reality is assumed to be material. The naturalist must use reason and justifying which is inconsistent in naturalism.
This book is deep and in-depth like most of Robinson's book. He explains how the God of the Bible is a necessary precondition for all valid epistemology and ontology. His language may be deep but is great for Christians to achieve critical thinking about God and His cosmos.
