The quality was listed as "very good" when I don't think it really was, the paper cover was water damaged but oh well the blue cover underneath looks better anyway.

But you have to know what these books are before you review them, and this book is about what it says, in Auditing what can we do in counseling sessions to help restore life energy to people where life and bad experiences has drained it away from them.

His interpretation of that is what this book is, and it does a good job at illustrating and explaining that. Simple as that.

There's a lot to digest. Still working on it. The book is put together very well, with glossary etc. (A huge improvement on the original edition.)

This book is not ment for the begining student of scientology as it cannot stand alone as a seperate study of the subject. However, after the reader overcomes some hurdles and grasps the nature of a sentient viewpoint, which is the unit of measure of a living being, we find here a workable method for an applied philosophy that has as it purpose ~ the freeing of man from physical bondage to reach a much higher level of conscious awareness. The application of the methods contained herein, if followed exactly, are amazingly enjoyable and equally rewarding. One of my favorite books from L. Ron Hubbard. ps: Can be used in conjunction with his book Self Analysis.

Although an advanced book of Scientology, the intermediate or advanced student of the subject should gain much information as to flows, energy and its relationship with the spirit (thetan) to help others be more self-determined.

Basically the title of the book is a philosophical equation. Scientology 8-80, the first two numbers stand for "infinity infinity" (the "8" being a Greek letter for infinity on its side) and the zero represents "theta" (another Greek letter, symbolizing the spirit).

The parts I most enjoyed were the essays on electronics, wavelengths and how the memory is merely a mirror, recording everything seen and heard and experienced and the author even discusses Nietzsche, Kant and Hegel with their own misinterpretations in solving "the riddle of existence."

Not a beginner's book by any means. The interested student should read this in conjunction with the recorded lectures "Source of Life Energy" and "The Command of Theta."

Lecture Series mentioned, at least one of them is on Amazon: The Command of Theta: Lectures 1-10

This is not a beginning Scientology book. It reads like a technical manual for auditors, or for Scientology counselors. It has chapters on Wave Flows, Black and White Aesthetics, Self-Determinism, and The Manifestation of Energy. This book likely works best for an advanced student of Scientology.

I have been re-reading Scientology this summer. I wanted to give it another shot. This book -- in my opinion -- is totally unintelligible. It is where LRH falls off of the deep end. He redefines theta (which started out as soul) as something that attaches itself to you. He talks about a person's "wavelength," which I translate as "vibration." Otherwise, I got nothing. Five books and three sets of lectures, and now I am done.
