Good product - overpriced, small quantity

Scor-Tape is great stuff. Really - I love it. But I don't love the small amount on each roll, nor the inflated price. I have recently converted to Miracle Tape, available from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, and I won't be buying Scor-Tape again. Do the math: 27 yards of 1/8" Scor-Tape for $5.24 (at the time of this review) versus 55 yards of Miracle Tape for $4.99. The products are comparable in every way that I can perceive; archival, acid free, super strong and easy to use.

Perfect tape in a perfect size!

I've been attempting to make various types of greeting cards for a short time now and I've been in dire need of some tape that is this narrow. I thought with this tape being so narrow that peeling the backing off would be a real chore but instead, it's the easiest I've ever worked with. That shocked me in a good way. It attaches cardstock to cardstock very good and it doesn't leave an ugly residue like glue does. It's also flat which I also prefer. It makes my cards actually look so good that I'm now seriously considering throwing out all the previous ones I've made using glue and/or glue dots.
I'm so glad it was available on Amazon at a reasonable price. I live in a very rural area, so I can't just get in my car and drive a short distance and purchase this somewhere. I would have to drive over an hour if I wanted to buy this in a store. I'm 100% pleased with this purchase.

Nothing beats Scor-tape for adhesive quality and this thin 1/8th-size roll is really convenient. I use it for making cards, for adhering small and tiny boxes and treat bags together to taping die cuts to cardstock. It's perfect for Tim Holtz paper village die cuts! Scor-tape is strong and long-lasting, I'd recommend it for every crafter than uses tape.

I LOVE SCORE TAPE!!! I used this tape to seal together several rectangular layers on my Christmas cards this year. A little bit is all you need. I have found, however, that it is much easier to pull the backing from the tape if you cut it instead of tearing it -- at least for this very skinny 1/8" wide roll. Let me say, I have nails of IRON. I would put my nail down and tear the tape against it and invariably it would bunch up on the end just enough to make the backing difficult to lift. But don't let that deter you. Cutting the tape works great and this 1/8" roll is an excellent value.

In my opinion the Sookwang double sided tape other wise known as Scor-Tape is the best in the industry! You have some wonderful hold with this tape . You can do so many things ; Holding down ribbon instead of gluing it. Beads are there to stay and so are awkward embellishments they stay down with Sookwang tape. Of course if they are heavy you need big glue dots. Make stickers with it. You can die cut with the larger size width 2.5 and up just put it side by side on the card stock and you now have a 5" surface to use, die cut it and peal. This will give you a smooth image to put down or even add foiling to it and other embellishments . It also comes in 6" width for the largest dies.I even use it around the house to hold things down on my glass desk surfaces. In my opinion it works better than the "red tape" not to mention any names. It is a bit pricey but you will receive a pristine product in my humble opinion as a paper crafter. Happy Crafting! L~

Very sticky!

A little too sticky for me. The one I bought previous to this was not quite as sticky and you could re-position if you put it on crooked. I will use it up but I use it to put photos on card stock as I make my own cards. Once you start to stick it on the card stock there is no going back as it will rip the paper if you try to re-position. Other than that it's just what I was looking for.

I'm very glad I took a chance on this product b/c of the low "Add-on Item" price. Here are some bullet points to summarize my review:
- This tape is easy to use: "unwind" the amount of tape needed, cut or rip (yes, this size can be ripped by hand), attach to first surface, peel off backing, and attach to second surface.
- I was able to remove the tape after I attached it to the wrong side of a piece of ribbon (oops...)
- I've used it to attach paper-to-paper, ribbon-to-ribbon, and ribbon-to-paper - all applications are very securely in place.
- The 1/8" width can be difficult to work with (as with anything that small), so I let it stick to my finger as I cut it and it does not lose its "adhesiveness."
- The 1/8" width does give this tape versatility: I've used it to cleanly adhere 1/8" ribbon to a card, and to adhere larger pieces of paper by using two strips instead of just one.
- I also used this with kids ages 6 - 12: I had them hold the end, then I cut the appropriate length (careful not to cut their fingers of course!) - they had no problem using the tape.
- I used non-stick scissors to cut the tape - not sure if it would stick to standard scissors.

I already placed a second order for this tape, and I plan to order additional widths. I highly recommend this product to any other paper crafters.

I do alot of card crafts, and this worked great for that. Sometimes the glue would lift off when I removed the paper covering, so make sure you rub it down securely before removing the paper. It doesn't come with a dispenser, so I just cut it with scissors. I wouldn't recommend it for securing cardboard, or heavier paper. It worked great on paper and lighter weight cardstocks.
