The Rock may be the next Arnold Schwartznegger! To my surprise, the Rock is charismatic, well-spoken and will probably go far as an action movie hero. My children and I, who are fans of The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, loved this movie also. The storyline wasn't too bad, the special effects were good, not too much blood and gore, the dialogue was decent, the humor was pretty good and The Rock was convincing.

I didn't think this movie was going to be as good as it was. I have never liked the over-the-top theactrics of pro-wrestling, and expected to see some cheesey acting by "The Rock". However, I couldn't have been more wrong; "The Rock" is a surprizingly good actor! This movie had some really great action sequeances and I thought the story played out well. I'm not saying this is a "thinking" movie, but it is great entertainment in my opinion. The only problem I had with this movie is that is did not lead into "The Mummy Returns" as I expected.
