I didn't bother reading the reviews for the product since I'd purchased it previously from Amazon. That was a mistake.

Ordered it from DoroSports Store® & Emporium as their price was a couple dollars cheaper.

What they sent me is definitely not the real Scotch Brite product - just a cheap green pad that looks similar from a distance.

There was no box or other packaging to indicate these were Scotch Brite pads, and upon first use I discovered that they begin to dissolve immediately upon contact with water. Not exactly what you want from a heavy duty scouring pad.

I almost didn't bother taking the time to write this review since it's only about $11 wasted, but figured the info might be useful to others.

I see now that there are other customers with my exact complaint who have purchased this product from DoroSports. Hey Amazon, if you see your sellers substituting counterfeit product, perhaps you might want to have a talk with them??

I found these very cost effective in terms of square inches per dollar. I use them for washing pans in the kitchen. You just need to cut them, as they are huge. Or, I suppose, you could try to use them uncut. But they are big. Really big. I say cut them!

Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Industrial Size Scouring Pads (20 pack)
Bought this pack of Scotch Brite scour pads through my husbands amazon account. Its a 20 pack and I usually cut each pad into 2, which means we have 40 scour pads.
Like -
1. Its the original stuff, I've bought these at retail stores and they work the same as these ones, so these can be nothing but original pads
2. We do a lot of dish washing by hand an that means we use scour pads heavily. Like I mentioned I cut each 6x9in pad into 2, I use approx 1 pad/month. So doing the math, we should be able to use this one pack for about 40 or so months
3. Other than dishes, these pads can be used for cleaning the sink, the countertop, stove and if you have iron grill on the stove or drain pans like I do, you'll need these even more.
4. Whenever we've had to move, in order to not incur cleaning charges, I bring out a new scrub pad and clean the bathtubs/bathroom sink, stains etc. Same with kitchen floors, stains anywhere, stubborn caked on gunk on the iron grill. Of course wear gloves and these pads prove their worth

Dislike -
Nothing.
Pic shows the box it came in and the measurement of each 6x9 in pad. I cut it into 2 as shown.

These are twice the size of the Scotch-Brite you get in the supermarket, and each pad is about half the price. That's a four times improvement in value if you cut them up as another reviewer suggested. But I like them big for some purposes, too. I use them to clean teak outdoor furniture (spray liberally with 409, go over with the Scotch-Brite, rinse with a hose, then treat with 303 Protectant -- you'll be stunned how well it works.)

Great product at a great price. Highly recommended.

Should have read the review prior but I figured how can this get screwed up. These pads are not what was represented. I buy these pads all the time. This product came in a small plastic bag with no indication of its origin unlike the marketing. The pads I received are small, less than half the size that come in the represented box, and appear to be more form scrubbing your face that pots. I think Scotch Brite should become aware of what these cheaters are representing in their name. I am appalled at what I received and can't believe these people are allowed to sell through Amazon. I will be more cautious of what I purchase from Amazon in the future. I will definitely not EVER buy form this seller again.

Scouring pads were sent in an unmarked envelope (no Scotch Brite box), and are see-through, not the heavy-duty fabric of the brand name product. Each pad lasts only a very few scrubs. Forget it if you use it on something sticky like cheese—just throw it away. Query the particular seller you get for this item, or take your chances. The moral of the story is, you get what you pay for. I paid relatively little, so I'm going with the flow, but I'll know better next time.

They used to sell these Scotch Brite scouring pads, in the smaller size, in grocery stores near me, but not any more. Now I get these on Amazon. I absolutely love these scouring pads. I cut them with scissors to the size I want. I use a piece about 1-1/2" x 3" at the kitchen sink for dishes and pans. I cut them in about half to use for hand cleaning in the shower. I cut them into circles and use them in the Black & Decker PKS160 power scrubber that I bought on Amazon to clean the shower doors. These scouring pads are strong and abrasive, but gentle enough and do not scratch your dishes, special casseroles, or silverware. I have used these pads on teflon, with no worries.

These are commercial grade, great for pots & pans. Walmart sells 3-pack cheap scrubbers. Each pad can be cut in half and still have a bigger pad then the ones bought in stores, and better quality. These pads are huge & heavy duty. Love them; & would buy them again. Well worth the price!!!:)
