Save your money and buy this over other tubeless tape. All other tubeless tape is this stuff but rebranded with fancy packaging, this is the real deal.

Fit perfectly into Arch EX rims, no side trimming needed!

Excellent alternative to Stan's tape at a fraction of the cost. A few measurements -

Dimensions:
Stan's - 0.28mm x 21.2mm x 10m (approx 4-5 MTB rims or 2 road rims)
Scotch - 0.18mm x 23.8mm x 55m (approx 18-22 MTB rims or a dozen road rims)

Based on measurements I do 2 layers for MTB rims, 3 for road. Pull it as tight as humanly possible and it stretches into the rim cavity nicely.

To prevent overlapping the sidewalls I've had good luck offsetting the tape towards one side of the rim & running a blade around that inside corner to remove extra.

Another way to skin this cat is one layer of 12mm filament tape and a top layer of the above strapping tape. The filament tape provides the mechanical strength (170 PSI rating) while the strapping tape seals it. If using this method, both rolls together will seal about 50-55 rims, road or MTB.

A good substitute for No Tubes yellow tape. This tape is thinner so you need 2 wraps to get a decent seal. But at this cost, it is still much cheaper than No Tubes. It also follows the contour and shape of the rim cavity a lot better - maybe it gives a better airtight seal.

Wide enough for large cartons under 120lbs without a strapping machine (steel bands or thich plastic straps).
Wide enough to split for securing smaller circumference packages.
Only needs an inch overlap to hold during parcel shipment or USPS handling.
Large core allows for by hand or from a commercial tape dispenser for even placement.

I was a little surprised at first that this tape doesn't have the fiberglass strips in it that I'm used to seeing in "strapping" tape, but it's really sticky, sturdy and easy to peel and cut, so I like it.

I bought this as a low cost alternative to the overpriced Stan's No Tubes rim tape. I found it to be nearly identical. The only difference I found was that the Scotch brand tape is a different color, almost clear vs. the cream, less translucent color of the Stan's branded tape.

Despite the similarities between the two products, I would not recommend the 24mm tape for use on the Stan's Crest 29er wheels. Although 21mm to 25mm was recommended, I found this 24mm tape was too wide and it built up on the inside rim channel too much, covering the rim lip making it very difficult to impossible to seat a tire. I ended up removing the tape and purchasing the Stan's branded tape in 21mm.

To be clear, this is an excellent product and appears to be identical to the more expensive Stan's tape. The 24mm tape however, did not work with my wheel set.

I use this tape primarily for sealing tubeless mountain bike rims. Used for that purpose it cannot be beaten for the price. It is identical to the big bike brand tape and you get enough to last longer than I can imagine rather than enough to seal 2 wheels for $12 from your local bike shop. Just research what size (width) you need for your specific rims.

Good quality strapping tape comes in handy for securing packages. I get a number of things in the mail that almost came out of the box due to the use of mere wide clear tape with so real strength. This stuff will help a package survive postal workers going postal with one's package.
