this is great stuff... we attached our outdoor solar lights to a concrete block wall ... in Las Vegas ... lots of heat.. drops to 30 in the in winter .. seems to bee holding up fine

if 3M could slit the backing so a person could get a fingernail under it to get it started would make this 5 stars (peeling off the backing is the hardest part about this product)

Yes, it does hold stuff with a death-like grip. You really could use this for an outdoor mailbox. I have a large, heavy power strip and I use this to position it on the wall behing my computer.

But this bugger clings to everything! I rested it on it's side and then had to fight to pry it off the table. Then a bit of paper stuck to it, and it is still there. I broke a nail prying it off another service and I don't wear fake nails. It works very well but you could easily see Harpo Marx making a routine out of working with it.

Best bet is to rest it on a bit of hard plastic. And don't hang it from a wall peg or you can kiss your wall paper good bye

Product was purchased for mounting GPS Unit inside of vehicle Dashboard for Clients. I must say it holds up well with respect to weight applied and temperature. Also used it to hold up a PVC Trunking housing HDMI Cables on a Concrete Finish Wall and up to this day it holds up well. My only issue with this tape is that it doesn't want to come off lol. So please make sure you position where you want it to avoid having to remove. Excellent Product. Very pleased and I will highly recommend.

I used this to mount solar flood lights to my tiny house with uneven siding and it has held really well so far! One of the lights got taken out by snow falling off the roof in this last big storm (we got 15 inches in a day), but that snow took out other things with it, too. Really like it.

4 stars because, for some reason, it doesn't hold things up INSIDE the house on smooth walls. I don't get it.

I use these to hold my solar lamps outdoor on very uneven concrete surface. It's so sturdy that my dad swears it won't hold, but then after we stick it on, he end up need to use a razor to cut the lamp back out for re-positioning. Great product!

I have not used outdoors, but I have used it to hold my center channel speaker (paradigm ow-cc-350) balance on my fireplace insert. To the wall to keep it from vibrating off. I’ve also used it to hold a network switch for my office cube on the wall and some other items that I don’t want moved and they stay put.
