Customer reviews
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

* A summary of the history and heritage of Scotland
* Scotland in the present day
* Scottish traditions (bagpipes, kilts, tartan...)
* Touring map of Scotland
* Streetplans of Edinburgh and Glasgow
* Places to eat
* A limited selection of serviced accommodation - no self-catering or camping
* Information for overseas visitors eg currency, health services, postal service, public transport and ferry services
For travel, it is conveniently divided into regions with each offering clear maps, colour photos and sketches of the main features of interest for each island (some info is a bit sketchy), region, town and village all written in a clear, straight-forward style providing just the right amount of detail. The photography is of a good standard and includes photographs by acclaimed photographer Joe Cornish (see also Scotland's Coast: A Photographer's Journey and Scotland's Mountains: A Landscape Photographer's View )
It is a convenient size to carry while travelling, has a stiffened protective oversized paperback cover and is the ideal guide for any visitor travelling by car.
I would highly recommend this to anyone planning to tour Scotland as a whole or a specific region and especially first-time and overseas visitors to Scotland.
