I've been using Scott Toilet paper for years and years because I hate changing the rolls all the time and with 1,000 sheets per roll it lasts a long time. Or at least it used to. When I put the first roll from the package I just purchased on the toilet paper holder, it looked like my paper holder had gotten a lot wider. There was more space on either side of the toilet paper than there was on the last roll. I checked the screws fastening it to the wall, and they hadn't been removed or changed. So I got the empty cardboard roll from the last roll that was in the wastebasket and held it next to the new roll. It shrunk by about half an inch! I checked the upstairs bathroom where we still had a half a roll of the last package, and sure enough, it was narrower.

The package still says "1000 sheets per roll" and makes no mention of the new, compact, mini size paper. No discounted price for the more "efficient" size either. I think it's time for a switch to another brand.

We have used Scott toilet paper for 25+ years. Recently their quality control fell off the wagon. The last two 12 roll packages purchased from Wal Mart have demonstrated that quality inspectors must have fallen asleep. Each individual sheet has multiple holes or tears. If the rolls in the most recent package purchased still have this quality problem, we will switch to a better brand.

I have used the regular Scott's TP for years, maybe decades. But the product has changed. The current product caused major skin irritation to two female members of this household. It's rough, thin, and leaves lots of lint. I just wish I had figured out what was causing our problems sooner. The rest of the multi-pack is in the garbage.

That one star is a minus ten stars!!

I've been using Scott Toilet Tissue for many many years but now with the skinnier roll and thinner product, I QUIT. It's really crap, and not good for one!

I'll be looking at other brands.

I'm 49 and our family has always used Scott. Recently it has really gotten cheap. I thought they used to be 2 ply? No? You have to use twice as much as you used to before. Scott may have good deals sometimes but it actually isn't worth the money. Rolls of tissue at bulk clubs have better value. Years ago a roll of Scotts would last a week, now it only last 3 days tops. Sorry Scotts, you start making cheap, the only place your going to be selling this product are the cheap dollar stores. Right now I feel your rolls are worth about $1.00 for 10. Just really gone (pardon this pun) crappy!

We have used Scott 1000 sheet rolls for years because we hate to change the roll so often. Lately the quality of the paper has "disentergrated". It is so thin and full of holes it rolls up in bad places when used. If this is the way it is going to be we may join the Charmin bears!

I have purchased Scott tissues for 20+ years and the product is clearly inferior to what it used to be. The paper is virtually transparent. Try another brand like I plan to do.

Do not waste your money on this toilet paper! The only reason I gave it one star was becuase it is slightly better than using your hand. 1000 sheet per roll means very little if they are as thin as onion skin. I kept thinking the layers were coming apart at first until I realized what a bad product I had purchased. Not even sure I will make my family use up the package. DONT BUY IT!!
