The video quality of this DVD is very poor (the audio is excellent however). Stationary objects and people are fine, bu as soon as the performers start moving, the image is distorted. In addition, if you are looking for a DVD that shows what Christmas in Scotland is like, you will be disappointed. This is basically a collection of traditional Christmas carols and other songs performed by either Sydney Devine, Eve Graham or The Glasgow Phoenix Choir. (Ms Graham was originally part of the group The New Seekers and is most well known in America for the 1970s Coca-Cola ad song, "I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing".) As far as the quality of the performances, the choir wins hands down. Both Mr Devine's and Ms Graham's voices are greatly diminished with age (Graham was 64 and Devine 67 when the music was recorded). In addition, it was not even Christmas when much of the footage was shot (one will notice trees and shrubs in full, green foliage). There is nothing that tells of or shows Scottish Christmas tradtions, no songs in Scottish Gaelic, etc. All in all this DVD is a disapointment, I would not recommend it.
