Scotts® Natural Lawn Food builds a thick, green lawn naturally! Apply it during any season and to any grass type to start your lawn towards thicker, natural grass (versus unfed grass). You'll see greener grass within 1 to 3 weeks after an application. After applying, you don't have to worry about waiting before you can use your lawn again – it is safe to walk on immediately after an application! Plus, the lawn food can be used around kids and pets and has no unpleasant odor. Scotts® Natural Lawn Food is OMRI listed. For best results, apply with a Scotts® drop or rotary spreader to actively growing turf. Apply header strips, then apply the lawn food in the longest direction of the lawn. To ensure your lawn is receiving adequate nutrients, apply this lawn fertilizer up to four times a year (see label for details). Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Sweep any product that lands in the driveway, sidewalk, or street back onto your lawn. This 29.1 lb. bag of Scotts® Natural Lawn Food covers up to 4,000 sq. ft. of lawn.

    First off this is a great productIt arrived on time which is a big plus since I had ordered a fertilizer from another company and thought the package was lost so I went ahead and bought this oneIt turns out the other package arrived way late but I'm glad it was late or else I wouldn't have bought this one, and this one is a lot betterI read some reviews that it had a bad odor!?I have a much better sense of smell than most people do and I can tell you that this has no bad odor, it kind of smells like lawn seeds or bird feed, but nothing badI will definitely buy again!!

Prices are pretty high compared to the thirty-percent discounts offered by the parent company. I use it every two months. Animals are not poisoned by the application.     Was amazed to see how well the grass has been growing and how dark green it has become. This will not kill weeds. For that I use tenacity which is also human/dog friendly . Using both products have been a godsend. My dogs are out in the yard all the time and I have never had problems. This fertilizer smells like molasses.y dogs don’t eat it and if they did , who knows… they have never been sick last few years. I highly recommend.

    The only thing with products like this is that it takes a few seasons to really see if it feeds the yard with good nutrition that it needs. I do love the idea of feeding the yard with all natural organic food that won't burn or harm the grass rather than always using synthetic chemical food. Thank you again Amazon.

    I’ve been using this lawn food for this lawn season and my lawn is very green and healthy. However, it doesn’t dissolve very quickly. I put it down and water Avery day for a week and it still haven’t fully dissolved.
    Consequently the following week after putting down using a real type mower a large amount of this product gets mowed up. After even two or three weeks I can still see granules in places. This stuff would be awesome if it would just dissolve quicker.
