The real surprise has been the plastic one. I wasn't expecting much looking at the images, as it's really just a hunk of plastic that's curved on one side and flat on the other. In practice, though, it's absolutely blown through long-stuck-on adhesive labels on a entire host of plastic containers in my kitchen. I'm running around getting rid of all the old, survived-50-dishwasher-cycles labels on my rubbermaid containers, giggling like an idiot.
Absolutely remarkable product.
You can never have enough Scotty peelers!
I bought this set because it didn't come with the metal peeler. I got a set before with the metal one, and never used the metal one. Eventually I lost two, and was down to only having one left, so that's why I ordered more.
It's basic, it's simple, and it works.
Ideally, libraries would come to their senses and quit using those horrible labels. Until they do, I'm glad to have these around. I would recommend them.
It pays however to soak the bottles for at least half an hour before trying to remove the labels!
