1) I would make the tile bag nicer...more durable, and of a better material. 2) I would include many, many more Star Trek words in the bonus points list. I am in the process of doing that myself. Maybe I will post the list I come up with if anyone is interested.
Anyway, I LOVE words, I LOVE Scrabble, and I LOVE Star Trek. This item helps fulfill all three of those "likes".
I will say that my family is used to playing upwords instead of scrabble, and going back to any standardish scrabble just was not as fun. So there may be more enjoyment in this game if you are really into scrabble and Star Trek. However, if you are not, and you are just looking for a Star Trek themed game, I would recommend the Star Trek Monopoly(the continuum edition) as the altered doubles rules make for a very interesting and fun variation to the original monopoly game.
Makes the game of scrabble much more interesting!
Only one minor problem, but its hardly vexing. The board and pieces are very smooth, so if you're a klutz, try not to accidenly hit the edge of the board when you stand up, etc. or the pieces may slide right out of their places.
