On the positive side, the digitizer works as well as an original part from a touch perspective, and it fits the phone well. The product was also shipped and received quickly. Otherwise, this would have been a 1 star review.
This was actually a bit misleading to me because when I got this and the adhesive - I thought the tools I ordered were just packaged together, but as the reviews say - not all tools are included with the digitizer. The tiny T2 screwdriver is missing and you need on to take it apart.
Overall the process of prying things open, putting the old LCD+digitizer assembly into a 185F-hot degree oven for 2 minutes and breaking a few seals was a bit scary and time consuming and I had little hope that it would end up successfully, but after I followed a few YouTube instructionals and put everything back together - it booted up and just worked!
The quality of the digitizer itself is OK. It doesn't have the AT&T logo that the old one had. It has a little bit bluish tint if you look very closely, it seems like it might be a tiny bit darker (less transparent) than the original and also at some angles and with some light reflecting from the screen you see the tiny dots of the digitizer sensors if the phone display is mostly black. I usually use the light theme though, so I almost never see it unless the phone is turned off. I would probably give it 2-3 stars for these problems, but I'm overall happy with the bang for the buck. $25 screen + $10 for two sheets of pre-cut adhesive layer is cheaper than $100 price from iGSM in Bellevue, WA and possibly based on same digitizer anyway.Read more ›
However, this screen is identical (as far as I can tell) to the original. It even has the AT&T logo on it. It feels the same and it works the same. I'm satisfied.
Be warned that changing your own screen on the Lumia 920 is VERY difficult. You'll have plenty of opportunities to destroy the LCD underneath when you pry the old glass screen out of the frame after heating it up to "too hot to touch". Don't do this if you are not mechanically inclined. The Lumia 820 replacement job is a cakewalk compared to this.
UPDATE * Tried to order again (2 screens) and both were garbage and did not work at all. No AT&T logo. I'm not ordering these parts from Amazon anymore. To get a refund, I have to ship these broken screens back to China. I guess they don't care that I had posted this good review... no longer good.
The screen has also dimmed the entire phone. The screen is not nearly as bright as it used to be. This is disappointing, but I could have dealt with this issue.
This is the second digitizer I have replaced and the first one, purchased from a different source, worked fine without a hitch, until I broke it again. At that point, I bought this one, replaced it and had these results. I am going to have to take it apart again and see if there is something visually wrong.

Good night, my expectation was not totally met. The touch screen digitizer fits the Nokia lumia 920 screen. However, there is no touch to the left top corner on the screen. Read morePublished 9 months ago by Pansy O'Connor
