I've played several of the Northern Tale games and this is one I like the best. It's a pretty straightforward task management game but with enough of a story to keep things interesting. The tasks are fairly standard across the levels, but you do have to figure out the strategy as you get to some higher levels which require astute use of the bonuses. While some levels took several tries, it is possible to complete all levels with 3 stars. I particularly like that I can queue up tasks on this version. Graphics are good. The only slightly annoying thing is that when you restart, the game doesn't recognize you already have the background on the level and insists on giving you the conversation that sets the stage. But that's easy to fix, just click on the conversation box and it goes away quickly.
I don't know what has changed at 'Amazon's' Digital games, but I NEVER had the issues I have experienced with the last three game purchases not running. No Help!!!
