I've been using colored pencils and I've been having a lot of fun deciding whether to draw something or use words. I also enjoy getting creative with the prompts. Every once in a while I see a prompt I find odd, like two circles with "fake" and "real" above them. So I just drew a pair of boobs because I'm immature.
Basically, this journal is what you want it to be.
I didn't enjoy this that much, thought the activities would be more engaging so gifted it away. Not up to the quality of "activity books" that I usually enjoy, "Wreck this journal" or "Finish this Book" or "The Book of Doing." To me, those Activity books are masterpieces of engagement observation and activity. This--not so much.
I would definitely recommend this as a gift for someone in your life.
