There are three very important things to know about this book. One- the hero is a single dad, two- he has a sensuous Irish lilt and three-he’s a sexy movie star. Those three things resulted in me fanning my face a lot and a massive explosion of my ovaries!
Ronan is almost too good to be true and every woman’s dream man. He’s romantic, charming and his debonair persona is ever so swoon worthy. Holliday is America’s sweetheart and beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. This coupled with her independent spirit, classy and kind hearted demeanor; made her a wonderful heroine. She’s familiar with the Hollywood scene as her stepfather owns a movie production company in Los Angeles. She’s also an executive assistant at her sister’s fashion design company in New York which often caters to photo shoots and movie sets. I was in awe of her as she is a survivor of a horrific crime that happened to her years ago. She possesses an incredible amount of strength and I loved that she doesn’t it let it define her.
There are so many things that I loved about Unscripted and one thing that stood out the most was Ronan and Holliday’s instant connection. There was no delay or drawn out storyline as it was quick and to the point. Those two were like magnets and I just knew they were going to have explosive sexual chemistry. When they consummated their relationship, I was not disappointed in the least. All of their sexual encounters were so tantalizing and naughty. Just the way I like it!
Unscripted also has some angsty moments as Ronan and Holliday attempt to navigate through their new relationship while dealing with demons from the past and present. There are several people who were out to destroy them with lies, blackmail and manipulation. This made the plot even more engaging and I couldn’t put this book down. It’s a definite must read. The best news is, Unscripted is book one in a duet and Perfectly Scripted, the second book is available at the same time!!
Perfectly Scripted starts off right where Unscripted ended which was an excellent way to begin this highly anticipated final book in the duet. Ronan and Holliday are moving forward in their relationship while still facing certain obstacles. Ms. Pastore gives us a more intimate look at Holliday’s past and my heart absolutely shattered for her. Her character has so much strength and her courage is inspiring. This book is full of emotional turmoil, angst and their relationship is definitely tested throughout the book. Ronan and Holliday are still burning up the pages with their passionate and scorching sexy times. Along with that, you will find their connection has grown more deeper and stronger. Their love is genuine and cannot be denied. In my opinion, this was the best part of Perfectly Scripted and really took their story to another level.
From beginning to end, Perfectly Unscripted was everything I wanted and so much more. The conclusion to this duet was beautifully written and I highly recommend reading it.
What a sweet start to Holliday Prescott and Ronan Connolly’s story! Cute little Jade and Leah (Ronan’s mischievous daughters) escape their nanny and show up in the hotel lobby where Holliday is trying to relax. Ronan is one of Hollywood’s sexiest Irish movie stars and Holliday is beautiful inside and out, and is recovering from a previous violent attack that happened by someone else in the movie industry.
The characters in this first book of the duet, Unscripted, are fantastic! They are so thoroughly written into the storyline! I love the two-person POV, it is so easy to follow and I love the lengths of the chapters. The way the author wrote the friendship of Grady and Holliday into this was phenomenal! All the actions that took place because of their friendship were so incredibly written. The heat in this book was spectacular! I really enjoyed the alpha in Ronan and the way he took charge, but Holliday was feisty and firm and held her ground when she needed to, making for a perfect combination. I love where the author, Christy Pastore, cut this book of the duet off…perfection!
I LOVED the prologue to begin the second book of the duet, Perfectly Scripted. It filled in what happened to Holliday 2 ½ years prior, at the hands of POS Derek. Then, chapter one picks right up from where Unscripted left off with Holliday and Ronan. Again, I love the characters in this book/series, and the way the author, Christy Pastore writes! The flow of this series is so wonderful! This second book brings all the characters in even more, and I really enjoyed all of them, they just all fit so well into the plot! There is conflict, love, heartbreak, explicit sex scenes, alphaness, feistiness, family, exes all wrapped up in this book. I REALLY enjoyed this duet and would highly recommend it!
**This book has well-written but explicit sex scenes
**Trigger warning…violent rape discussion written
I personally do not read duets right away because they are never released together. I will not even attempt to read a duet unless both books are out. So, yeah this box set is amazing! Happy Reading!

This book has been revamped and I love it even MORE! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Even after knowing Ronan and Holliday from before, reading their story this time around was way more enjoyable.
I can’t even describe or pinpoint why I loved it so much more. Their chemistry is off the charts. Holliday is feisty, and Ronan is so smitten with her it’s adorable.
Off to read Perfectly Scripted to see how the rest of their story goes!!
Perfectly Scripted review:
Christy Pastore has rewritten both Unscripted (book 1) and Perfectly Scripted (book 2). I’ve read both versions and I love them both for different reasons
In this version of Perfectly Scripted, we are more focused on Ronan and Holliday. All the other “noise” surrounding them is muted as these two find their way. The chaos still exists around them, it’s just not the focal point and I love that.
If you’re looking for a sexy, romantic story then grab up this duet. You won’t be disappointed.
