After the first tankful of gasoline with the proper amount of Sea Foam, both engines started to run better and start easier. After the second tank of gas + Sea Foam, I could tell a big difference. Started and ran like they were supposed to. I will keep using this and purchase again.
I used to be an automotive tech and this was the go to product for fuel system cleaning. The only products I saw at the shops I worked at was this or BG chemicals products.
I use just about the whole bottle in the tank and leave an ounce or so to put in the oil 100 miles before you get an oil change.

I have a Yamaha Thundercat which would struggle to start and would pop and fart whenever I tried. I drained the tank as I thought maybe the fuel had gone bad but it was fine. So I added a small amount of the same fuel back to the tank and added a good glug (probably more than I should) of sea foam. I shook the bike a few times to get the stuff to mix thoroughly and cranked the bike over. I got the same coughs, splutter pops and farts as I usually do but that was obviously the fuel that was left in the carbs. As soon as she fired up properly she ran better, less lumpy but not perfect. I let her warm up and she ran better again. There’s still something not quite right but I swear it’s done SOME good. Each time I start the bike now she just fires without issue. No more pops and farts.
My GSXR on the other hand worked well before adding Sea Foam and as the bike had been stood for a while I decided to drain the tank. I added some sea foam to a small amount of fuel and poured it into the tank. This time the bike refused to fire up. It just spun up and gave two massive bangs from the exhaust. I’m sure some neighbours might have though someone was firing a shotgun. Anyway I left it as it seemed like it might be flooded, I tried again the next day and the GSXR fired up and ran smoother (I’ll put the failure to start down to operator error).
In my personal opinion this stuff really does help. It’s not going to fix all problems as it’s not made of pixie dust and unicorn sh17, but the bikes are running better. At £17 a can it’s cheap enough to try and could save you needing to take your car or bike or mower into the shop.
All levity aside, I’m converted and will definitely use this stuff in the future.

After doing a full service, replacing broken bits and tidying it up I then had to sort the carbs out. I was getting a rich running condition with a stutter around 3k RPM when opening the throttle 1 out of 3 times. Either a float that was sticky or some blocked jets no doubt.
Ran 1/2 a bottle of Seafoam through some fresh fuel and on the first ride it's made a massive difference, the bike feels better and rides a million times better.
Since then, I've ridden it 2 or 3 more times and it continues to improve each time, touch on wood, I've noticed no stutter at all and performance feels much more solid.
I then put in the cheapest oil filter i can buy and the cheapest full synthetic oil that i can buy, and run it at idle for 15 minutes.
I then drop that oil and oil filter out, and its as black as the engine oul that i began with 😂 then i put in a good oil filter and premium oil.
This stuff does an amazing job at cleaning out the sludge from my engine! I highly recommend
Followed a few YouTube videos and hot soaked the engine ( look it up before trying ).
After introducing the mixture of sea foam and unleaded thee engine did smoke like a beagle at thee Benson and Hedges factory or indeed a James Bond Austin Martin twith a fat bald baddie with 4 stumps in pursuit .
After running it for 30 minutes and fogging out thee street the Yamaha runs slot better .
If you put it in your fuel, dont forget to do it with a full tank and change your fuel filter after the tank is emptied.
If you put it in your oil, just listen to how quiet your cam followers become.
A bit of white smoke on start up, went for a 100miles drive and I swear it’s running better, more stable idle, engine seemed to run more quite. Had some issues with dieseling before and car shut off quicker with this magic stuff in.
For usage in oil - they recommend to put it in 100-300miles before oil change is due.
You will struggle to find a bad review of this. I will stick to this from now on!
Now my car runs like it used to. If you want to buy an additive for your car Sea Foam is the one.
