I purchased this on 7/23/2019. I've been using it day and night for about 2.5 weeks. I used to wake up each morning wondering how inflamed my skin would look. Sometimes it would be calm and other times it would look inflamed. It has always been particularly inflamed and splotchy when the monthly bill is due. This month I didn't realize the bill was due because my skin hasn't given me any of the tale-tell signs!
On days where it is calm my acne scars (red) hardly show. But when it was inflamed I used to put on layers of foundation on top of the scars and it still doesn't look as good as when my skin is calm. The inflammation also causes overall splotchiness which takes hours or days to fade. Even a perfect diet and lots of water weren't enough to guarantee an inflammation-free face. The rosehip seed oil doesn't lower the inflammation but it does work as a moisturizing wonder.
It is too early to tell if there have been any permanent improvements in my skin: fading of the acne scars and sun spots. If there are no permanent improvements I will continue to use this because the calming affect on my skin is noticeable. I've been able to cut my usage of foundation in half (I only use it on acne scars and discoloration).
My body hates fragrance, extra stuff, preservatives in products so I make my own moisturizer:
I use two pumps along with rosehip seed oil at night and for daytime I use one pump mixed with rosehip seed oil. It is best to add the oil to my hand first to prevent the bioferment from soaking into my had instead of my face. During the day I also use sunscreen plus aloe vera then foundation. Hope this is helpful!
