The Ultralight Insulated Air Mat is designed with ultralight adventures in mind. Constructed with a single layer of medium resolution Air Sprung Cells the weight is kept down. Thermolite and Exkin Platinum are used for insulation and with an equivalent R-Value of 3.3 this lightweight and compact mat will take you through more than just warm summer nights. The multi function valve allows super fast inflation and deflation and fine-tuning of your personal comfort. This ultralight insulated mat shows that you don't have to compromise weight for comfort.
With the optional Air Stream Pump you can set up camp much faster. The Air Stream Sack Pump is a dual purpose storage sack and pump. It features a low profile valve plug that is compatible with our multi-function valve found on all of our sleeping mats and Aeros pillows. With two to three cycles of air, your sleeping mat will be inflated with minimal condensation on the inside of your mat and no dizziness from puffing. The lightweight 15D Ultra-Sil Nano dry sack is large enough to store your sleep system for easy packing during the day.
Air Sprung Cells are the core technology used in Sea to Summit Air Mats and are the reason you will sleep more comfortably on a Sea to Summit mat than on a conventional air pad. Inspired by the hundreds of springs found in a modern pocket sprung mattress, the hundreds of small interconnected chambers (called Air Sprung Cells) perfectly support your weight and conform to your body contours.
The Ultra Light range has a single layer of medium resolution cells to give you the lightest and smallest packed volume mat without compromising on Sea to Summit's Air Sprung Cell comfort.
This is a very lightweight non-woven fabric that has a thin metalized layer applied to the surface. Exkin Platinum thermal technology reflects radiant heat back to the user. Unlike reflective films used in conventional sleeping pads, Exkin Platinum is silent.
Thermolite HL-1 is part of the family of Thermolite materials used in Sea to Summit sleeping bags, sleeping bag liners and sleeping mats. HL-1 high loft insulation is a fiberfill constructed with a unique 3D crimp of hollow-core and solid fibers, which provides excellent lightweight warmth with superior durability. The Thermolite insulation lofts up inside the Air Sprung Cells of our sleeping mats to prevent convective heat loss from your warm body to the cold ground.

Pros: Absolutely tiny when packed up! Has been warm and comfortable enough. The valve system is much. much nicer than anything I've used before. Setting up and packing is super easy.
Cons: Definitely a bit crinkly, you get used to it though. Side sleepers may occasionally bottom out the pad at their hips but not often.
Easy to blow up by mouth, and a good size. I'm 5'4" 215, and it's almost too long, but no complaints there. It's also a good width. When laying on it, I don't touch the ground, however, when I just have one knee on it, that knee will touch the ground. I can sit on it Indian style comfortably.
About the noise: if it's in my kitchen on the tile floor, it is ridiculously loud. I'm going to bring a blanket to place under it during my trip so I don't annoy the other campers. If it's on my living room floor, the sound is what you'd expect for laying on this type of material.
As far as comfort goes, it's not too bad. This is my first time sleeping on a pad vs an air mattress. With that being said, I can see myself falling asleep just fine on this pad, and I even find it comfortable to lay on my stomach, which is very conductive to my sleep.
Material appears easy to clean and it's not attracting any hair or debris from my floors, which is pleasantly surprising.
I am worried about it getting a hole. I will be laying this pad on cement or dirt ground. But like I said, I think placing a blanket under it will suffice. This just adds unexpected weight to my pack.
