I purchased the Halo Wars edition of the Game Drive. I don't own Halo Wars, but as a Halo fan the artwork is much appreciated and fits right in with my game collection as well as the Xbox One's general aesthetic. Its great to have such a small and portable memory expansion for the Xbox One, that doubles as a regular external drive if you'd prefer it for other uses. A nice addition would be some sort of holder/clip/platform to hold it in place with the X1, I have my X1 in a tight space and it seems wrong to place it directly on the device. The device also generates a good deal of its own heat when in use.
Plug and play
Great amount of storage for an Xbox One upgrade
Can slide around when moving console
No proper holding place
Can get hot
This was super simple. Plug it into the wall, and plug it into your Xbox. I had to unplug it from the Xbox and plug it back in the first time because it didn't register, but I didn't have my Xbox turned on so maybe that's a thing. It takes a second to pop up, but then it's very easy to follow the instructions on the screen. My controllers work great out of the USB ports, and I can still use them out of the Xbox ones as well.
All the empty space immediately showed under the my games and apps area. I've never used an external hard drive before, so I'm super impressed with this. I have this one laying down flat instead of standing up right like in the pictures.
I think I'll get one of these for my nephew, and another for myself! I'll never run out of memory! Bahahahahahaha
