I like the Seahorse latches; they double secure with the turn of a small circular knob. The latches, while sturdy and well-made, are easy to open with one hand. The SE720 appears to be as tough as an equivalent Pelican and the Seahorse is less than half the price. I got two 720s for less than the price of one Pelican Air 1555.
The other concern when looking for a case was whether or not the bottom would be deep enough to accommodate a D810 which is nearly five inches high when placed upright. The SE720 is perfect. And although there is only one piece of thick pluckable foam on the bottom, you can customize the spaces that need a shallower depth by cutting and placing some of the foam you remove back in the hole you took it out of. It was easy to create a custom space for my gear and I was amazed at how quickly I was able to do it.
All in all, if you need a case about this size, you can't go wrong. It is perfect in many ways.
I asked where you can buy replacement foam inserts and received no answer. So I go off my lazy butt and went to Seahorse.net and here is the answer:

This would seem to be the least expensive source selling genuine Seahorse foam inserts. Not available on Amazon.

A piece of advice: This case and many of the seahorse cases have just one really thick (think 5.5 inches or so) piece of pick and pluck foam. If your item has varying depths like mine do, just keep the foam you pluck out intact, then cut it horizontally to the desired height and re-insert the foam into the larger insert. In this way you can make your foam have a custom depth as well. This is great for supporting items from the underside since the bottom layer of foam is not nearly as substantial as the top egg-crate type foam layer.
The case came with ACCU-FORM foam. Which basically allows you to pull the foam out and shape it to your specific instrument. As can be seen in the picture I drew the lines to show the area I would need to remove and then removed it and fit my projector in.
Another reviewer mentioned that the foam seems to wear quickly, so I left enough foam on the closest side so that it is not too thin and should therefore last longer.
It was big enough to hold the projector and all the small part (remote, power cord etc) that comes with it.
It looks and feels like a very stable case. As someone who moves around a lot (thus the need for a sturdy case) I will see if it will withstand the test of time and constant wear and tear.
As of right now I am satisfied with this product.
