I liked this book. I also thought maybe the relationships would have been more mature. I really couldn't connect to Avery. I also couldn't figure out being a senior in college who had a boyfriend for that many years and a virgin. That was really strange. I also had trouble with Kreed and her relationship. I loved Kreed I thought he was such a good guy. That brings me back to Avery. I was 50% into this book and I didn't get the feeling she really liked him that much. She was dating his friend Trever. It seemed she would have sex with him just as easily as Kreed. I also didn't get why she left Texas, at first I thought her ex Jackson was dangerous, be he just repeatedly cheated on her. I don't know this book was just missing something. I usually love Navy Seal books, but I just didn't connect.

I've never really wanted to read a military romance, but after reading Big Girl Panties I wanted to try out another book by S.J. Sawyer. I'm glad I took the plunge.

Sealed is such a sweet, love at first sight romance. It captures you from the start and allows you to become engulfed in the characters through the eyes of both Avery and Kreed.

Avery is the picture of southern charm and manners. She's finding her way after her ex finally shatters her heart for the last time.

Kreed is your typical Navy Seal... strong, dedicated and sexy as hell.

The characters in this novel are well developed and believable. You'll get to experience Avery trying to find herself and truly live for maybe the first time in her life while Kreed does his damnedest to win her heart.

The storyline flows and engages you through fun, playful dialogue. You feel as though you're watching a friend's life unfolded before your eyes.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Solid five stars for this beautiful romance novel. The author did an amazing job. Kreed and Avery are such a sweet couple. Their romance is one of faith, honor and time. The supporting characters truly helps the reader see more into the main characters lives. The dialogue and chemistry are strong. You will feel like you're right there living the characters lives. There are a couple minor spelling and editing sections but it is so minor and does not take away from the story.

I really wanted to give this book five stars but it really pissed me off at the end. I loved the characters and their for. Some of their stories were crazy. I really didn't see the significance of what Avery did as a suppose to be virgin. Also made me angry how she seem to play between Trevor and kreed. I just didn't like that. I loved the fact that she finally got the right guy but his dignity was a little too much for me. I don't like that now I have to wait for another book to get their ending. Also have to see what happens with the parents. Crazy story but well written.

I will try to review without being a spoiler....
First off this is the 1st book I have read by this author and I will be reading more. I am already on Teased.

The story is mostly about a young woman who has decided to start her life over. She left her home and moved to Maryland, she's already enrolled in college there and has a place to live (with her ling time friend Miranda). So now she just needed to get on with life. However, because she just got out of a long term relationship the last thing she wanted was to meet ANYONE... but sometimes you can not control everything and fate stepped in. She meets Kreed (Miranda's brother) who is home on leave from the Navy.. and he's not just in the Navy, he's SEAL!

Basically the stars aligned and two unlikely people are immediately taken by each other. Neither of them wants or needs a partner. She wants to really live, focus on school and meet people. He wants to enjoy his leave, avoid his parents (who you will want to slap, typical politician and wife with their heads firmly up their ass) and not get into a relationship. He's always avoided them because the Navy is his life.

S.J. Sawyer puts this story together so well. It's not just about a boy meets girl... the whole cast of characters are vitally important. The friends of both the two main people are crucial and even though you may think that the banter between them sounds immature, you have to remember that they are (for lack of better words) characters and it takes all types. You will soon feel like one of the gang and be in love with them, in spite of their quirks. Me personally, was swooning over Kreed and Avery and rooting for them. Yes, by the end of the book I was sobbing.... fyi rarely happens to me.
I can't wait to see what is in store for each of them in the rest of this series!!! Loved this book!

*Spoilerish*

Kreed and Avery have a story of love at first sight. Neither were looking for their other half but a chance meeting brought them together. I really enjoyed this book. It was very steamy, and I wanted Kreed to give in to Avery soooo very bad...but he didn't :(
I'm desperate to find out how things end. Hopefully Avery can wait for him. I'd be very sad if he doesn't get his HEA.

Ok...All I can say is if you haven't met Kreed you are so missing out! SJ Sawyer kudos to you I look forward to this series! I loved every character you brought to life starting with Kreed I so want him for myself. Then you have Trevor, Randi (Kreed's sister), Caleb, Claire, and of course Avery. The emotions you feel are a rollercoaster ride! You are going to feel the love at first sight, feel the heartache that someone can endure, the happy moments that are going to make you smile, definitely the parts that have you a little angry but then back to the parts that make you smile again. (Completely bi polar but in a good way)
You will walk throughout both lives with family,& friends.

This book is told in alternating POV Kreed Jones And Avery Bishop
No cliffhanger with hopefully so much more to come. This is the first book in the series followed by "Teased" and a novella "Severed" being third.

Avery Bishop is a beautiful girl running from the heartbreak she endured in Texas where she is from. She has golden blonde curls, gray eyes, with potty pink lips. With what she dealt with in Texas she is in search of a fresh start so picks up and moves to Maryland with her best friend Miranda Jones and Claire Randi's other roommate best friend.

" Sometimes you just have to run to find something better."

Kreed Jones is a freaking Navy seal who is OMG! He is total Alpha beautiful green eyes, body of steel (that chiseled), hello Navy freaking seal who is sweet as hell.. I so want him as my own. (Once you read this book you will too). Ok so Kreed has grown up in a different way then Avery they both had money but his Parent's had a lot of say in Kreed's career choices and the life he has lived til now.
