Fabulous, all Probst fans are going to love Searching for beautiful! This book includes characters from the Marriage series and those of the Searching for series. Well written, keeps you engaged, just when you think you have it figured out, think again! Like all Jennifer's book, this is a stand- alone book, however, I think it means more if you have the family background to go with the story, to me it is sooooooooo good!

Wolfe and Gen are life long friends that truly have each others back in every way. But what happens when best friends become best friends with benefits? Lots of sex and some heartbreak along the way. Gen is a runaway bride and Wolfe is there to help her avoid a disaster. The Ex is rather possessive so Wolfe wants to make sure Gen gets her life back on track - her way. However, living together, although temporarily makes it too far tempting to remain just friends.

If you are familiar with Jennifer Probst Searching for series, you've met our alpha male, Wolfe before. From the previous stories you knew he was wounded and carried a lot of baggage. Gen is part of the family that resides in Verily with the awesome friends at Kinnections who make frequent drop ins through the story. I liked both main characters even though I couldn't relate to the situations that brought the story to this point. I did have a problem with relating to Gen. Having worked in the medical profession with surgeons, her cow towing to the ex didn't seem plausible.

I really liked the other books in this series and was looking forward to finally learning Wolfe's. But I am not sure what it was that had the story really dragging until after 65%. Maybe it was the baggage from both main characters we had to deal with? Or maybe unexpected in having a character that should be self assured and wasn't to me. I think if the storyline would have concentrated on one characters struggles, it would have moved faster for me. After the half way point, the story began to pick up and flow a bit better. Do I recommend it? If you are like me and need to 'finish' all books, then yes, it was an okay one-time through. If you're not one of those, I could see skipping this books as the excerpt for Searching for Always seemed like it would be a better read.

Searching for Beautiful by Jennifer Probst was everything the title promised... a fabulous search as the characters grow and become even closer and finally find beautiful.

On your way to becoming a surgeon, marrying a doctor - no not just any doctor but the Chief! Can life get any better for Gen? Well apparently! Because it is just not feeling right to her.. so she runaway brides it! Jumps out the church window and lands right in the arms of her best friend!

Wolfe had snuck out of the church for a moment and ended up being in the right place at the right time to catch his best friend and sweep her way to safety. But as they spend more time together their feelings deepen and come to the surface. Will they be able to risk their relationship to search for beautiful and find true love?

I just adored this book. Don't you just love a great friends to lovers story! And Gen and Wolfe are so perfect for each other, even if it takes them a while to see it ;) Their easy banter between each other, the acceptance of who the other is - no ifs, ands, buts or backstories needed - the support, the chemistry... it's the stuff you dream about. And Wolfe.. WOLFE!! Really, read this for him alone! Hot, smart, protective, bad boy, sweet with children, he blushes.. blushes I tell you, his fear of spiders (seriously it is adorable and hilarious, you have to read it!) *sigh* he is truly swoon-worthy! Wolfe brings a broken, damaged heart into this and watching him fight with himself, while still watching over Gen was both beautiful and heartbreaking. Gen was the one initially hurt and broken as this book begins, but we watch her grow and find her inner strength thanks to the support of her best friend. I loved watching her come back to herself and see the roles reverse in their relationship.

In this 3rd installment in the Searching Series Jennifer Probst delivers a fantastic friends turned lovers story that will melt your heart and soul! When we start out on this journey it’s Genevieve’s wedding day, and shes nervous, rightfully so. Her impending marriage is making her feel caged and trapped, making her feel like the only way out is to jump from the church window! She falls into the arms of her best friend Wolfe, who just happens to be in the right place, at the right time. Now in the previous books we didn’t learn much about Wolfe so he was always sort of that dark and mysterious man that you couldn’t help but wonder about.

Wolfe is sexy, all bad boy tattooed and pierced, however the outside doesn’t really match the inside… Insides his mushy and soft and has a heart of gold. Unfortunately his past has hardened him and he shows that side to very few people in life. One being his adopted family, and two Genevieve. They became BFF’s during their college years and as time went on they grew closer and closer… That was until Genevieve started working at the hospital and was swept up by David, the surgeon, things began to change. She was busy, he was busy, and David didn’t like them being friends! They grew apart, and until she literally fell into his arms Wolfe was not having an easy time with their separation, so having the chance to whisk her away from her doubts about marrying David, he became her saving grace.

Genevieve’s struggles through out the book truly are heartbreaking. To learn and discover what she was burying when it came to David was truly sad… Luckily her best friends were all there to help her through this time, including Wolfe, who after one HOT KISS, turned her world upside down.
