Seasons of Love - A collection of four, seasonally-themed short stories Kindle Edition
Author Kristine Raymond writes in an engaging manner that focuses on clearly describing tension filled scenes that elevate the melodrama. While this collection focuses on the romantic aspects, there is still some thrilling moments scattered throughout. I enjoyed how the stories put the characters in various situations that anyone can find themselves in, and in this way I was able to relate to the story and the characters because of how grounded the stories are, at least in the beginning.
Looking at the cover of the book, I thought the book was going to be a collection of cozy romance stories. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Kristine Raymond provides a unique blend of romance and suspense which makes these stories feel fast and engaging. While these are separate short stories, they are still connected by the characters showing up in each others stories, giving this something of an intriguing soap opera feel.
Seasons of Love is filled with passionate love stories that will catch every romance reader's heart. I recommend this seductive collection of stories to people who are looking for a quick read, as these are short and impassioned stories that can easily be read apart, but the drama is always front and center ensuring that each story is entertaining." - Literary Titan

There was one who was on the run, one who was being stalked, one who was grieving, and one who got an unexpected visitor. The falling in love was pretty quick because they are novellas, but there were solid story lines too.
The covers reflect the storyline settings, and in the last story a link between the stories is revealed. It was fun "meeting" the characters and they all ended too quickly for me. Any time of the year is a perfect time to fall in love.
Note: I received an advance reader copy and enjoyed it enough to buy a copy. I hope that this author writes more mature romance novels... full length too.
A truly fantastic collection of short stories, the author has done a wonderful job of creating well-rounded characters and evenly-paced stories that really capture the reader’s attention. The interesting thing about this collection is not only how the stories end up connecting to one another, but how each story incorporates various genres into the narratives, ranging from drama and loss to mystery and suspense, all against the backdrop of romance.
The really interesting thing however comes in the use of seasons for the narrative of each story. Utilizing this storytelling device, the author has found a way to make the seasons themselves not only part of the tapestry of the narrative but characters themselves. The writing does a great job of navigating the subtle nuisances of each story’s narrative, ranging from building tension to passionate romance and so much more.
An emotional, heartfelt, and enrapturing read, author Kristine Raymond’s “Seasons of Love” is a must-read short story collection. Perfectly written for those who love romance stories that incorporate many other genres into their narratives and romantic pairings that draw the reader in immediately, be sure to grab your copy of this incredible collection today!

Overall: 4 / 5
Seasons of Love is a collection of four novellas from author Kristine Raymond. Each novella tells a story of a different couple and each is set in a different season. Seasons of Love begins with ‘Dogwoods in Springtime,’ and it takes place during March, April, and May. The next story ‘Seashells in Summer’ takes place during the months of June, July, and August. The third story, ‘Aspens in Autumn,’ takes place during September, October, and November. Lastly, ‘Snowflakes in Winter’ is during December, January, and February. Therefore, after finishing the last story, a whole year has gone by.
The first three stories were lighter in the amount of sex, but the last story had a more than the other novellas. I really enjoyed reading Seasons of Love. The novellas were sweet and touching and perfect for reading at the beach! They all had a good storyline, and the writing was well done.
I especially loved the ending!
