Seemed to be just what I needed.
After it arrived went to a junk yard and tried it out
No mounting bracket but I have in with my
tools in the front seat.
Def consider purchashing a more reputable item like the ResQ Me or a knife will a HARDENED carbide tip as this just doesn't seem to do the job.
Whether the "reviewed" product is hardened and works well, I don't know. However, I suspect not. My one star review is intended to inform that there is a lot of junk out there. Decide for yourself what you want to buy, but you will not likely know if this works until you absolutely need it to work. I don't think it is worth the risk.
BTW...Lifehammers are hardened steel and TUV certified. ResQme is carbide. Many knives are made with carbide tips for this window breaking purpose (I have a Kershaw Responder). They all work great because they have carbide tips. The Choate breaker noted in one of the videos is hardened steel, but even this has trouble breaking windows. Enjoy these links.
Update*** This Emergency Escape Tool was tested by a Canadian volunteer fireman. Video of him testing this breaker, a Gerber knife (carbide) and a ResQme (carbide) was added.
Hope to never need to know, but not worth the chance when you can get a certified hardened device for about $10 more.

Took longer than predicted to get, but for the cheap price seems like it will work. Made from very cheap plasticPublished 9 days ago by F. Fraser
Hollow and the hammer bits fall out. I would not trust this in an emergency. Unless I am willing to pay to ship to china no refund either. I purchased 4. Read morePublished 16 days ago by Andrew
One of the components was loose in the box when it arrived and it wasn't as heavy as I would have liked. I wonder about its effectiveness if I ever need to use it.Published 19 days ago by Nissa Kendall
I've purchased two of these. One November 12, 2014 from ToysNGamesEtc and one June 22, 2016 from GOOACC. The second from GOOACC is a poor imitation of the first product. Read morePublished 20 days ago by Whim
