"Sebastian Meets Marvin the Monkey" is a fantastic children’s book written by a talented family team, Janice and John Spina. In trying not only to entertain, but also to educate children, the author teaches them the value of respect and love for animals.
Marvin is a sad monkey who never has fun. Day after day, he blankly stares at the people who come to see him. But when a little boy named Sebastian turns his toy phone on and the music starts playing, something magical happens. Suddenly, the zoo becomes a very happy place! Watching Sebastian dancing, Marvin is dancing too! Sad moments are gone. Love’s in the air as fun has begun!
This book is an excellent rhyming book for preschoolers and kindergartners. A trip to the zoo with Sebastian will let them discover how a little thoughtfulness can spread happiness and love around. Read this book! Dance like Marvin! Love like Sebastian! And have fun!
One day Sebastian went to the zoo. And here he met Marvin the monkey, seeing him bored sitting on a branch, since he has nothing to do. As Sebastian watched the monkey his toy phone went off and music was heard. Sebastian started to dance.
Marvin loved the music and did his own way of dancing. All the other monkeys watch him.
And suddenly all the other animals in the zoo start to dance in their own way.
Everyone had fun.
A great story for all to learn, that there is more to life than just sitting around. A little music can lift you up and be joyful and let you forget the sad part of your life.
Great and colourful drawings of all the animals in the zoo.
