Everyone knows that nothing is fair or nice in high school. Redbend High is no different. Everything that Molly wants it seems Bianca the wanna be witch ends up with, even the best friend Lennie that they both share. But when Molly finds herself at church she finds out 2 important lessons: 1 God's grace can save anyone 2 never judge someone by how they act on the outside because that person just might be dying on the inside. I can't wait to find out what happens to all 3 girls in the rest of this series and I already have them on kindle. So now the only question is why am I doing still writing when I can be reading! Great job Anna I can't wait to see and read where the world (and God takes this amazing author!!!
Witcha'be was a different read for me. I usually do not read a lot of YA stories, but since Ms. Kittrell is an amazing person I could not, not read her story.
The book brought me back to my teenage years which enabled me to embrace each of her characters. I knew these people, I was these young people in the story. It made me smile, laugh and yes, it brought tears to my eyes several times.
I highly recommend this book whether you are a young adult or someone who wants to revisit their past in a wonderful way.
A few of the background details were a little glossed over, but considering the story is from the perspective of a teen, that's okay.
Overall, a captivating story, great characters, clean writing, and nothing lazy or clichéd, not even in the church scenes.
