I look forward to reading more from Ms. Thorne-Williams.
With that said, I finished Second Chances at 3:21 am one morning because I could not put my Kindle down (that’s right – me, the person who did not want to read it in the first place, could not put it down). And when I did, I picked it back up again. As I met the women in the book, I got totally caught up in the lives of my new “book girlfriends.” Brigette, Luanne, Carrie, and Genia were women that I came to know, could relate to, and found interesting to read about. Since the storyline was not as predictable as one might think, it definitely kept me turning the pages.
To the Author, Bernetta Thorne-Williams, I say “Keep writing” and We’ll keep reading. I thoroughly enjoyed your book and believe others will enjoy it too.
