"The Secret of Bhagavad Gita" by Sri Vishwanath is a beautiful, "learningful" adventure into the very secrets of life. This book is not just another commentary on age-old wisdom, but is a dynamic interpretation of simple, yet profound truths as seen through the eyes of the hero of the story. You will want to come back to this book over and over again for inspiration and guidance through the highways and byways of life.

Its very hard to put into words the Value one receives in this book. Something we should have been exposed to early on in life for sure. The Secrets from this Holy Book the Gita, explains in easy to understand format just how simple it is and how good it can be, if we but just pay attention, be mindful and absorb this profound work of Art. Its true we have an inner guidance system and the red lights begin flashing upon opening this book, but with Chapter 3 things go way beyond the limitations we have set up for ourselves over the course of our lives and we can truly see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank You Master Vishwanath once again for taking me a bit further and showing me what life looks like from a Master's point of view. I'm feeling it now and have this Knowing that all is good and getting better each Holy Moment.

I usually browse many of the "cheapies" or "freebies" I download for my Kindle searching for passages or chapters of interest, to quickly move on to more substantial readings. To my surprise, this book got me glued from beginning to end.

Vishwanath is a former business consultant turned into New Age guru, something that would have made me run away from this book a priori. Ignorance is sometimes a bliss. Thus, I was able to read the book without any prejudice, with intellectual curiosity and the detachment that any religious or spiritual book requires from me.

This is not an academic exegesis of the Gita, done by a Gita expert or spiritual master (you should check Yogananda's edition for that), but a simple unpretentious book that uses the Gita in a practical way to extract practical advice to improve your life in general, no matter your religion or lack of it. In a way, is also a teacher's book to explain in simple words Hindu spiritual beliefs to non-Hindu people.

Vishwanath is able to speak about very complex spiritual things using a very simple language. The book is full of metaphors and simple parables that will get you to understand some of the principles taught by the Gita or some obscure sayings by Krishna. You will learn about the nature of God, the age of the Universe, the Hindu heavens and reincarnation, why Hindu people need of many Gods and Godesses, and the spiritual principles that inspire Yoga among many other things.

Some of the practical items of advice will help to bring peace to your mind (if you need of any), give you food for thought, and provide you with some amazing meditation exercises. I especially like the one about the Ocean, which I do sometimes and it is truly amazing.

I just finished reading this book last week. I really wish I had read this book before starting to read God Talks with Arjuna. The Secret of Bhagavad Gita really helps explain what is going on with the story in a very straightforward manner. I highly recommend reading this book before attempting to read the actual Gita.

Sri Vishwanath teaches us about who we are in reality. This in itself is a revelation because most Christians have no idea who they are. If you realize the Self, you're God Realized. (Check out Ramana Maharshi's work.) Since we're in Kali Yuga (the age of wickedness, cheaters, and morons) I hope there are a few people left who continue to work on themselves. Thank you, Sri Vishwanath!

His books are really amazing in the simplicity of the message and it is a gift to deliver the complex things in such an easy to grasp way. I have been reading the self discovery literature stop for about two years and his books were just what I needed at that moment to settle and organize in my head everything that was read before.
Usually, the fables of examples annoy me, but his are really to the point, I would highly recommend his books to anybody who wants to "tie it all together" no matter how much you have read on the topic before.

Very insightful and inspirational. A book you'd need to read slowly, to allow all the deep concepts sink in. A book you can read again and again, when you need to see how values in this world are not quite what the society pounds into our heads, leaving common sense and reason behind.

It's 6:00 a.m. in the morning. My bowl of Cereal and a read of Sri Vishwanath's book: The Power of Bhagavad Gita starts off my day. Sri Vishwantath's writing on the Gita is sweet as the the strawberries in the cereal. Sweet, palatable, easy to digest, and will be with me all day. I love the book for it's practical approach to the most important lessons. It will become a bedside manual for me I'm sure. So happy to discover this. Buy it you might love it too.
