The Secret: Christian supernatural thriller (The Scinegue Series Book 1) Kindle Edition
"Invited" into the company by a couple of thuggish looking bodyguards, Billy is awed by the high level of security and rather impressed to learn the company's motto: Make every person the best they can be. That sounds like a pretty noble objective, but Billy soon realizes that motto might not be one hundred percent correct. Eliminate every person who's not the best they can be is starting to sound much more accurate.
With demons behind the conspiracy Billy's first step in faith will be an exorcism. Is he ready?
Christian Supernatural Suspense
Bradley and Nicole, a novella that dives into the budding romance between Bradley and Nicole, best read after Traitor and before Final Battle.Saving Will - A spiritual battle ensues as a mother is forced to test her convictions when her daughter's life is at risk.
"The Secrets was an up to date story of scientific intrigue. It kept me wanting to keep reading. As so many stories get far fetched, this story could possibly happen." - Amazon Review, Teri Swanson

I got the general idea for the story after hearing a news report about a form of eugenics being carried on today. According to the report, in some places elderly patients taken to the hospital were basically killed as they were allowed to become dehydrated. That really spotlighted the question for me of who has the right to decide when someone should die other than God.
The Secret took that idea and ran with it, my fingers following along on the keyboard as new ideas and plot twists happened along the way. Instead of pointing fingers at a group of "bad guys" in the story I went with a supernatural twist because, really, what is ultimately behind all evil? The Secret was written with the intent that it could be enjoyed by the whole family. Even though it touches on some very serious subjects it is simply written and not too graphic.
Being my first book, it's not perfect. I'm always thankful to readers who point out typos or other issues that have been missed (even though the book was professionally edited). If you see a problem with the book or just have a comment, let me know! email@example.com
The following books in the series delve deeper into the eugenics and supernatural themes. I decided to put more focus on the supernatural themes after some of my teen readers expressed their love for that part of The Secret. Some parts get pretty "far out there", but I think overall they make for a fun, light read while still touching on some very real social subjects! Hope you'll enjoy the series too!If you enjoy books which push beyond normal day-to-day life and explode into the supernatural; books like the original Left Behind Series where people can and do become possessed and miracles happen in big ways, then The Scinegue Series might be what you're looking for!

Main characters, Billy and Sara Roth, considered themselves to be an average couple and people until seemingly unrelated events propel them onto God ordained path. Billy is thankful for his well-paid trash collector job; he strives to avoid mishap … but a carefully laid trap brings him to notice of company heads and ultimately to a “desk position”. Things get quite interesting when scientific development, physical propensity, supernatural forces, and spiritual dictates collide.
The Secret (The Scinegue Series: Book 1) was my first S.R. Booth book; and can I say WOW!!! I have already purchased and started to read next book in the series (The Pledge). I can’t believe this awesome writer has been beneath my radar for so long.
Kudos, Ms. Booth!!!

This is an amazing thriller—one that had me looking at the world around me with a little suspicion, just in case the plot was based on fact. I love it when a book does that to me! It reached right out and pulled me into its reality. How? Because S R Booth makes it so real. The people feel real. Their relationships are real. Their actions are real. The science is plausible and the intrigue is, too. This had the feel of a John Grisham or Michael Crichton suspense/mystery, yet never resorted to gory, explicit violence, bad language, or even sexual scenes. It was clean—and yet still so exciting. That impresses the socks off of me.
There was also a wonderful spiritual side to this novel. Without being preachy or dissecting doctrine, Booth simply allowed her characters to pray…and get answers. It felt perfectly natural, even though thrillers rarely feature such moments. And then there’s the ending—ah, but I don’t do spoilers!
I hope Booth writes many more thrillers because I will be back!
