Thank you for your work and honest straight forward down-to-earth approach to this issue. Most people just expect their doctor to be totally knowledgeable in there field. Honestly, physicians have been lied to as well as the public. We need to take our heads out-of-the sand and as a group of concerned citizens say NO more dis-information. Stop controlling people, and be as concerned for the welfare of you patients. I think the "do no harm" motto should be reinstated and sworn in with severe consequences to the physician, if failure to adhere to oath.

Just reading the hype in the description of this book made me NOT buy it. Of course your mouth, like every animal's, is filled with all sorts of bacteria that enter and leave teeth at will though the pores in the dentin. That is a good thing, actually, IF you keep your teeth in good condition. The problem of pulpitis, where bacteria take over the central canal of a tooth that has lost its blood supply, can cause bad problems like bone infection and showers of bacteria in the venous blood every time you chew or have tooth work. That is what a root canal procedure is meant to fix. Otherwise you can have the tooth pulled to remove the source of the infection. Your choice. But don't let the pseudoscience of this book scare you, it's just hype, after all.
