Likewise while I had to think about the title "The Secret of Trading" for I agree with it. The secret is having that edge that tells you loud and clear that you want to be either buying dips or selling rallys and the book gives you that.
This book is the best trading book I've read in many years, and provided a tactic which I added to my own trading plan. I honestly can't think of a better trading book that I have read.
I wish you knew me, so you would listen to me. I am just an average trader with an average brain. I have spent over $20K on lectures, seminars, systems, and self proclaimed gurus over the last 4 years and most of them were taught by "pros" that do not make their living off trading but off of "TEACHING" suckers like me. Of course there are some systems that do have validity, (like the turtles), which requires very deep pockets AND the stainless steel lined stomach to stay in those trades while weathering big draw downs. I think there is some validity to Elliott Wave as well, but 90% of traders cannot trade it profitably. Just when you think you counted out a certain series of Elliott waves, the market turns unexpectedly, and it is only after you count your losses that you see it was one of your "ALTERNATE" counts.
In his book, "The Secret to Trading Forex, Futures, and ETF's:" Jay shows you by his risk tolerance threshold theory method of trading, how a straight forward understandable system that may at first sound too simple to work, REALLY DOES!
I wish I could take 90% of all the crap I have learned over the last 4 years, from supposed trading gurus, put it all in a giant Glad Hefty trash bag and set it by the curb for pick-up.
Learn it right, learn it with discipline, learn it with Jay's help, you will thank me, even though you don't even know who the heck I am.
Jay will help you "get your mind right", to see the markets in a new way, and ultimately in becoming a profitable trader.

I did not enjoy the book at all. In my opinion the title is totally misleading because there is nothing special in the content to warrant it being called "Secret....."Published on September 6, 2013 by Amazon Customer
