This is a great follow up novel to Secrets of a Mayan Moon! In this volume the adventure keeps on coming and keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are plenty of twists in the plot that keep you guessing and by the end you have no idea what to expect. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read romance or adventure novels and I look forward the Volume 3 of this installment.

This is another great adventure that grabbed my attention right away. The characters are intriguing, and complex. There is plenty of tests and turns that kept me guessing what was going to happen next. A great story that I enjoyed following along on.

Her plot is very good and I loved this book. Once I started it, I could not stop reading. Anyone who enjoys romance, mystery, suspense, and travel will love this book.

I absolutely love these Isabella Mumphrey adventures! Although she's learned from the first book that not everyone is who they seem to be after her Venezuelan adventures, Isabella is still a bit naive when it comes to figuring out who to trust in the seedy underground. When I read these books, I really can't help but think Paty Jager displays a similar writing style to Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. However, Isabella seems to work her way out of trouble and can also save her man when it's necessary!

6 months after leaving the love of his life, Tino is finally in Mexico City trying to infiltrate the man's organization that had his family killed. Although he's vowed revenge there seems to be more going on than just a typical drug lord's crimes and now Tino doesn't just have his own case to close, but protect Isabella once again after she's placed herself right in the middle of danger.

Isabelle though joining WIA would bring her closer to her parents as well as give her a chance to work cases that might have her working closer with Tino. Her first case in Mexico City is to figure the disappearing of artifacts. But in typical Isabella style she stumbles upon more than just the stealing of artifacts from the Aztec Temple. She's once again brought attention to herself that has the drug lord's eyes set straight on her.

The second Isabella Mumphrey Adventure starts off strong and does not let you down. It is an adventure through the tunnels of Mexico city. It tells a little about the Aztec, Mexico past, drug dealers, greed, romance and has a couple of sex scenes that I skipped over.

Isabella still has her trusty vest with all her emergency supplies that does save the day. Isabella first case for working for her father is too figure out how Aztec artifacts are stolen from a museum after they were cataloged. She is smart, knows self defence and in love.

Tino Constantine is still undercover DEA trying to catch and bring down the drug dealers who killed his family. After six months working for Graza he is close to being able to shut him down. Then Isabella walks into his compound.

Tino risks his assignment to be with Isabella and to make sure she is safe.

Isabella and Tino risk a lot to keep each safe. Power and greed makes it hard to trust others.

I did not put the book down till I finished reading it. I like Isabella and Tino and would love to see more of them in the future.
