About the Actor
Nick Roberts - Roberts is an actor and casting director, known for Most High (2004), The Secret Life of Leonardo Da Vinci (2006), and Christmas Mail (2010). Paul Sharratt - Before landing his first major contract in Australia, Sharratt cut his teeth in comedy in the British Theatre and Music Hall sharing the stage with such great performers as Benny Hill, Johnny Mathis, Bob Hope, Danny La Rue, Gracie Fields, Freddie Sales and Max Miller. Also, he joined Adam Faith, Liberace, and Maurice Chevalier in the top British theatres tour of The Moss Empire Diamond Jubilee Show. Paul made his first TV appearance in 1957 as a regular cast member of the B.B.C. series Its Magic with David Nixon and has worked in television in front of and behind the camera ever since. He finally arrived in Australia in 1961 as a member of the famed Crazy Gang Show from the Victoria Palace in London. After several successful shows in Australia and New Zealand, Paul made his first appearance in the United States of America. In 1965, Paul formed Starcast Productions which became one of Australias foremost television, theatrical and special event producers. In his 12 years as an on-camera personality and producer of light entertainment for Channel 9, Paul won no less than 12 coveted Logie Awards. The Logie Award is named after the inventor of television, Scotsman Logie Baird and is the Australian Equivalent of the Emmy. Paul was humbled to be presented with his awards by such great visiting actors as John Wayne, David Cassidy, Gina Lollabrigida, and Sammy Davis Jr. During its tenure in Australia, Starcast Productions produced more than 500 major television specials including shows featuring such international luminaries as Phyllis Diller, Danny La Rue, The Village People and Gina Lollabrigida. In 1976 Starcast Productions, under Pauls direction, began an association with Associated Television International in Hollywood and since then Paul has served as co-producer and Executive Producer on many of their major TV productions. Today, Paul and his charming and lovely wife Suzie, now spend their time between their home in Los Angeles and their ranch style hideaway on the river at Nerang, Gold Coast, Queensland Australia.
About the Director
Michael began his television career as a producer on the long running Love Connection. He then went on to write, produce and direct all genres of unscripted TV from Documentaries and Talk Shows to Biographies and Travel Shows. After several years of Showrunning up to 9 projects at one time, Michael joined the team at Authentic Entertainment where he currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his work in Television, Michael worked on Broadway for 9 years as the Chief Operating Officer for Sweet Concessions, Inc, Broadways Premiere Concessionaire, Caterer and provider of VIP Hospitality Services. You have him to thank for introducing Pre-ordering drinks for Intermission in the US! Previous ventures in the Entertainment business include 20 years as a professional actor, singer, director and playwright culminating in the formation of the Award-Winning Avante Garage Comedy Repertory Theatre Company, which he founded and served as Artistic Director for multiple seasons at various venues in Nashville, TN. In 1992, Michael opened The Avante Garage Dinner Theatre which he owned with partners Joe Correll, Jamey Green and Kathy Shepard. Away from work, Michael enjoys Gourmet Cooking, Adventure Travel, Womens Roller Derby and Pitbulls!
