Faith is married to a prominent pediatric cardiologist who has a patient wait list three months ahead. She can't understand why her husband, Jonah, is becoming distant and spending a great deal of his time at work. She firmly believes when he's home he's at the office. Faith feels like she has given this marriage her all and that it's time for Jonah to pull it together or reevaluate his commitment to their marriage. Due to the stress of her marriage, Faith also finds herself struggling in her faith.
Jonah feels he is a hardworking loving husband who provides well for his family. He knows his high case load can get challenging at work and that he can become distracted. But he feels Faith should understand his desire to help children while providing for his family. Jonah will never let his family go through what he went through growing up. The feeling of going without will never grace his families life. Jonah has a lot on his mind and feels as if Faith should cut him some slack and take care of her husband's needs in the bedroom.
While all of this turmoil is taking place in Jonah and Faith's marriage, Jonah is constantly being pressured to take on more pro-bono cases at work, to make matters worse; Jonah learns his work ethics are suddenly questioned. Will Jonah and Faith survive this sudden jolt to their already strained marriage?
