Review

***** "Secrets of the River Cane" Compells you to read! by Ellen Richards on September 1, 2015
From: Secrets of the River Cane: A Corinne Wynters Mystery, paperback Amazon.com Verified Purchase"
I couldn't put it down from  page one. I love a mystery with lots of suspense and unpredictable plot twits and turns and this one delivers both. the writing is superb with descriptive passages that make you feel as though you are "inside" the story. Five stars. I highly recommend this great novel."

"From the very first page the story line had a grip on me. T.L. Seacliff captures your interest with meticulous attention to detail with neverending anticipation as to what will happen next. With a cast of uniquely crafted characters the story unfolds with just the right amount of comic relief. Well worth the read."

About the Author

T.L. Seacliff is a former award winning land development executive with a career spanning three decades in negotiating, managing, procuring land use entitlements from and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies. An accomplished writer, T.L has authored many featured articles and has been published in building industry periodicals and national magazines. The inspiration for this fictional novel came from a career of working through the complexities of the regulatory agency approvals with the countless dedicated individuals responsible for ensuring the preservation of the nation's sensitive, threatened and endangered species, ensuring the quality of our nation's waters, and T.L.'s fascination with the remarkable historical use of Arundo Donax as the material used for the creation of fine woodwind instruments such as the bassoon and for use as woodwind instrument reeds, and most recently, the prospective use of Arundo as a biomass for renewable energy.
It is T.L.'s philosophy that any usable energy derived from natural resources whether it is oil, water, or natural gas obtained by drilling deep into the earths' crust, solar energy from capturing sunlight, wind energy by the use of wind turbines, or biofuels from harvesting plant material, the methodology for producing all forms of energy from natural resources should be environmentally sensitive.
It is the author's hope that this novel will help to raise awareness of the potential for this native and invasive plant species to be used as a viable method of providing an alternative means of renewable energy.
