You cannot find a more comprehensive and helpful book on maintaining one's health or starting a health regimen than this book written by Jackie. For such a low price, this e-book contains links to several helpful videos to be watched for free. One outstanding feature is, the writer herself, had gone through the experience of social rejection because of being "ugly and overweight." In her brief biography, Jackie was also a heavy smoker. But through her own resolve and determination, she started researching and packing her own health regimen at age 40. Now, she has the body, the energy and stamina of 20-year old persons, male or female. I highly recommend this book. What a bargain.
You get so much more than expected, it's simple, to point and full of interesting information. I was pleasently surprise with the quality and quantity of usefull information presented by the author. The book is well worth it because it's realistic about the effort and dedication it takes to stay lean for life. It all comes down to you and your life style.
If I could give this no stars I would. There are no pictures in the book. Thre are no "secrets". This book offers nothing new - just a rehash of information that you can find any other diet/exercise book. I was very disappointed in it.
I rarely see this in big name diet/weight loss books and never see it in free books, but she talks about real facts, real math, no special secrets: just the hard cold facts about weight loss and nutrition. She discusses calories in, calories out, intermittent fasting, micronutrients and how much you should care. There wasn't any pseudo science I objected to and no bs. I really enjoyed this book (minus a few minor typos) and it should be renamed as "how to really lose weight. Period!" Not just for people who want that 6 pack. 2 thumbs up!
