This book is not all hearts and flowers. It's more real life and things don't get worked out quickly, but it does show true love can last through time, patience, hard work and perseverance if it really is true love.
You did an amazing job, Jill Patten. Thanks for bringing us two books to make one beautiful, heartwrenching story.
Thanks Jill! Job well done!

This story tugged on my heart strings for so many reasons. My heart broke for Jaxon time and time again, in the first book Jaxon was still pretty much a mystery, but here in SU we learn more about him due to all Courtney’s digging. I thought I was in love with him from the first book but by the end of this book I loved him so much more,
I loved Courtney in this book she grew up and started doing what was best for her and not others, I really enjoyed watching her grow.
I am not gonna lie there was some serious ugly crying happening towards the end of this book, like I said before it broke my heart.
SU is beautifully written and I am so happy for the epilogue, I don’t think I would have been able to forgive Jill if she left the story at the end of chapter 27.
If you love books full of angst that make your heart hurt a little (a lot) then this is the book for you.
I give a well-deserved 5 tear stained stars.
